ヘッドクリーニングローラー は、ラインショット
プリンター LPR-5000 用の交換部品キットです。
付属品 （図 ）

交換のしかた
ご注意
• プリンターの電源は入れたまま、交換してください。また、交換
の前に、必ず自動給紙トレイを外してください。
• 交換時、使用していたヘッドクリーニングローラーやヘッドク
リーニングユニットにはインクが付着していますので、手を触れ
ないようにご注意ください。

自動給紙トレイを取り外す。

MENU ボタンを押す。 （図 B）

表示パネルに 「クリーニングローラー コウカン」 と表示
されるまで、 b / Bボタンを押す。

SET
ボタンを押す。
5
「コウカン シマスカ？ Yes_ 」 と表示されていることを
確認して、 SET ボタンを押す。
No_
「コウカン シマスカ？ 」 と表示されているときは、
/ Yes_ SET
b Bボタンを押して 「 」 を表示してから
押してください。

プリンターからヘッドクリーニングユニットを取り外す。
（図 C）
1 付属のユニットイジェクターAを図の向きにカチッと
音がするまで差し込む。
2 ユニットイジェクターを手前に引き、ヘッドクリーニ
ングユニット Bを取り外す。

ヘッドクリーニングユニットからヘッドクリーニングロー
ラーを取り外し、新しいヘッドクリーニングローラーを取
( 図 D )
り付ける。
1 付属のローラーイジェクター C を図の向きに、ロー
ラー両端の金属部分をつまむように、カチッと音がす
るまで差し込む。
ご注意
カチッと音がするまで差し込まないと、外れることがありま
す。
2 ローラーイジェクターをローラーに取り付けたまま、
ローラーイジェクターを下へ押さえながら図の向きに
ひねり、ローラーを取り外す。
ご注意
図の矢印部分を持ってください。
3 新しいヘッドクリーニングローラーDをカチッと音が
するまで差し込む。
ご注意
カチッと音がするまで差し込まないと、外れることがありま
す。
4 ユニットイジェクター A 底面のツメを持ち上げなが
ら、ヘッドクリーニングユニットからユニットイジェ
クターを片方ずつ取り外す。
ご注意
ヘッドクリーニングユニットを逆さまにしないよう、ご注意
ください。

ヘッドクリーニングユニットBの両端を持ち、両端の突起
をプリンター上部の溝に合わせた後、水平に奥でカチッと
音がするまで差し込む。 （図 E）

表示パネルに 「コウカン オワリマシタカ？ Yes_
SET
示されていることを確認し、 ボタンを押す。
クリーニングが始まり、 「クリーニング ジッコウチュウ」
と表示されます。
終了すると、表示が 「クリーニングローラー コウカン」 に
戻ります。

READY ボタンを押す。
READY ランプが緑色に点灯し、表示パネルに 「
と表示されます。
これで、ヘッドクリーニングローラーの交換は終了です。

自動給紙トレイをプリンターに取り付ける。
ご注意
• 一度取り外したヘッドクリーニングローラーは再使用しないでく
ださい。ヘッドクリーニングローラーに着いたほこりやゴミが、
ヘッドの目づまりの原因となります。
• 使用済みのヘッドクリーニングローラーはローラーイジェクター
ごと廃棄してください。
ヘッドクリーニングローラーはプラスチックと金属、インクの混
合物です。ポリ袋などに入れて、不燃物 （不燃ごみ、燃えないご
み） として、地域の条例や自治体の指示に従って処分してくださ
い。

The EPA-5CR Head Cleaning Roller is a replacement kit for
the LPR-5000 Line Shot Printer.

Replacing the Head Cleaning Roller
Notes
• When replacing, keep the power of the printer on. Before
replacement, be sure to remove the automatic paper supply tray.
• When replacing, be careful of ink stain around the head
cleaning roller and head cleaning unit in use.

Remove the automatic paper supply tray.

Press the MENU button. (Fig. B)

Press the b or B button repeatedly until the
message "Change CleanRoll" (Cleaning roller
replacement) appears in the display panel.

Press the SET button.

Make sure that the message "Replace? Yes_"
(Do you replace? Yes_) is displayed and press
the SET button.
If "Replace? No_ " (Do you replace? No_) is displayed,
press the b or B button to display "Yes_", then press the

Remove the head cleaning unit from the printer.
(Fig. C)
1 Insert the supplied unit ejector A in the direction of
the arrow until a click is heard.
2 Pull the unit ejector to remove the head cleaning unit
B.

Remove the old head cleaning roller from the
head cleaning unit, and attach the new one. (Fig.
D)
1 Attach the supplied roller ejector C to the head
cleaning unit so that both ends of the roller ejector
catch the metal parts at both ends of the head cleaning
unit.
2 While pressing the roller ejector down, rotate it in the
direction of the arrows, and unlock the roller.
3 Insert the new head cleaning roller D until a click is
heard.
Note
The roller may come off if it is not fully inserted.
4 Open the claws at the bottom of the unit ejector A,
and remove the unit ejector from the head cleaning
unit. Remove one end, then the other end.
Note
Do not turn the head cleaning unit upside down.

Hold both ends of the head cleaning unit B and
align the projections at both ends with the slots
on the upper part of the printer. Then insert the
unit into the printer horizontally until a click is
heard. (Fig. E)

Make sure that the message "End? Yes_" (Did
you finish the replacement? Yes_) is displayed
in the display panel, and press the SET button.
Head cleaning starts and "Now Head Cleaning"
(Cleaning...) is displayed.
When the head cleaning is completed, the message
changes to "Change CleanRoll" (Cleaning roller
replacement).

Press the READY button.

The READY lamp lights in green and "READY" appears
in the display panel.
The replacement of the head cleaning roller is now
completed.

Replace the automatic paper supply tray in the
printer.

Notes
• Do not reuse the head cleaning roller once it is removed from
the printer, as dust on the head cleaning roller may cause
clogging of the printer head.
• Dispose of the used head cleaning roller with the roller ejector
attached.
The head cleaning roller is a mixture of plastic, metal and ink.
Dispose of it as incombustible waste, observing local rules and
regulations.
