1. INTENDED USE
The steel safe is used for safe storage of valuables. It can be
installed in motor vehicles, caravans or furniture.
This device is not designed to be used by children or persons
with limited mental abilities or without experience and/or lack
of required specialist knowledge. Keep children away from the
device.
The device is not designated for commercial use.
Use according to the intended purpose also includes the
observance of all information in these operating instructions,
particularly the observance of the safety notes. Any other utili-
sation is considered to be contrary to the intended purpose and
may lead to material damage or personal injuries. EAL GmbH
assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

4. SAFETY NOTES
• Read these Assembly Instructions carefully before starting
the assembly in order to avoiding serious mistakes!
• Do not drill load-bearing parts, such as cross and side
members or cant rails for mounting the safe.
• Make sure not the damage any concealed cables or lines
during drilling.

device!

• Do not manipulate or dismantle the device!
• For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts
that are stated in these Instructions or are recommended by
the manufacturer!
5. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Choose the mounting location such that you can remove the
safe from the mounted base frame without any problems and
that it is not visible from outside when the vehicle is locked.
The safe should be accessible at all times, even with the vehicle
fully laden.
Remove the safe from the base frame. The base frame is
astened onto the base with the side where the holes with
indentations are located. The indentations allow removing the
safe from the base frame without being blocked by the screw
heads. Mark the fastening points on the base using these
holes. Use the tapping screw provided if you want to fasten the
safe onto the body of a vehicle. Drill holes with 2.70 mm dia.
for fastening on the marked mounting points. Screw down the
safe through the holes on the base frame upper surface using
the tapping screws. If you mount the safe onto other bases, use
other screws that are suitable for this purpose.
6. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Grease the safe lock regularly with graphite or WD-40.

7. NOTES ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Please dispose of this device via the recycling bin or the public/
municipal collection points.
The materials can be recycled- You make an important
contribution to protecting our environment by recycling,
material utilisation or other forms of reusing waste equip-
ment!
