Intended use
The product is intended for cabling of rigid network lines in accordance with CAT6A standards. This then
makes the connection of conventional patch cables to the RJ45 sockets possible.
For safety purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes other
than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as
a short circuit or fire. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. If you pass the product
on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe safety instructions. If you do not
follow the safety information and information on proper handling in these operating
instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to

• The device is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if you have
concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a specialist
repair centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions, please
contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
Connection and installation
• Turn the holders of the cable manager carefully about 90° outwards.
• Hang the cable manager on the back of the front panel. The hooks on the holders must point downwards.
• Carefully cut into the cable sheath of the network cable at approx. 50 mm. Do not damage the shielding
and the inner conductor.
• Pull off the cable sheath.
• Pull the braided shielding backwards over the cable sheath and twist it. Remove the shielding of the wire
pairs.
• For cabling use either the colour coding according to T568A or T568B (in Europe T568A is usually used).
Do not mix the two colour codes on your network, or otherwise the network connections may not work.

• Press the wires in the recesses of the plastic module. Pay attention to the correct colour coding.
• Cut off the excess wire ends.
• Open the keystone module. To do this, slide a flat screwdriver under the locking clip next to the round
cable input.
• Press the plastic module on the terminals within the keystone module, so that the terminals are connected
with the wires.
• Close the keystone module. If required, use the pliers for help.
• Run a cable tie through the eyelet directly behind the cable input of the keystone module. Pull the cable
ties.
• Repeat the procedure for the remaining keystone modules.
• Place the keystone module in the front panel. Equip first the upper row (01 – 24) and then the bottom row
(24 – 48). The plastic clip on the upper side of the keystone module must click in place.
• Secure the cables with cable ties on the cable manager.
• Install the patch panel into your 48.3 cm (19") network cabinet. Suitable installation material is usually
included with the network cabinet.
• Attach the grounding cable of the patch panel to a grounding connection provided for this purpose.
• Label the cables and network ports on the patch panel in a suitable manner, so that you can inspect the
connections and cable connections more easily in the event of faults.
Care and Cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as these can damage the
housing or impair the product function.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of with the household waste. At the end of its service life,
dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
