The BABY born® Quad is not suitable for children under the age of 3. Please keep away from any moisture.
The Quad drives with a frequency of 27 MHz.
Caution:
Only use the Quad under adult supervision. Please only use suitable Baby born® accessories.
Preparation
1. Battery installation remote control:
Switch the power button on the top of the remote control to "OFF" before installing the batteries. To
insert the batteries, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control with a suitable
screwdriver. Insert 4 AA (LR6) alkaline batteries and close the cover again.
2. Battery installation vehicle:
Switch the power button on the bottom of the vehicle to "OFF" before installing the batteries (Fig.1). Open
the battery compartment on the bottom of the vehicle with a suitable screwdriver. Insert 6 AA (LR6) alkaline
batteries and close the cover again.
3. Please push the button on the back of the vehicle (Fig.2) to take off the device to hold BABY born® and
put it around the dolls waist. Now you can place BABY born® on the seat provided. Please take care that the
holding device is locked back into place.
The BABY born® Quad will operate when the switch on the remote control and the vehicle is switched to the
"ON" position. If there is no function between the remote control and the vehicle, move the remote control
closer to the vehicle to determine the best communication between the two.
Functions:
Push the left control button forwards to let the BABY born® Quad drive forwards. Pull it backwards and the
vehicle will reverse. Keep the left control button pressed while moving the right control button to the left or
right and the vehicle drives in the corresponding direction (Fig.3). Adjust the fine tune steering lever located
on the bottom of the vehicle to keep it moving in a straight line (Fig.4).
Cleaning:
The BABY born® Quad can be cleaned with a damp (not wet) cloth. Please ensure that no moisture enters the
electronics or battery compartment.
All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the battery type recommended for the unit.
• Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery life
time. We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
• If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.

All products marked with a crossed out wheeled bin cannot be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste.
Their collection must be done separately. Return and collection systems in Europe should be organized by
collection and recycling organizations. WEEE-products can be disposed of free of charge at the appropriate
collection points. The reason for this is to protect the environment and human health due to the potential
effects of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical zzand electronic equipment.
