Remove plane pieces from packaging. Hardware provided includes 8 small
screws (c) for landing gear attachment, 16 medium screws (a, b, d & e) for strut
attachment, and 2 long screws (f) for center wing attachment. A small Phillips
screwdriver with interchangable heads that fit the size of the screws is required
for assembly.
Turn fuselage upside down to access underside during lower wing installation
in steps 4-5. When turning plane during assembly take care to always set it
gently on a soft surface.
Find the two rear strut pieces. These have two lines with hooks coming from
the upper end.
Place lower end of rear strut into rear holes on top side of each lower wing as
shown. (Notches on strut ends should face the tapered rear edge of the wing.)
Place end of forward strut into forward hole on each lower wing as shown
(with end notches facing toward rear of wing).
Secure struts in place using medium screws (a) placed in holes on underside of
wing. Tighten with screwdriver.
Matching holes on inner edge of lower wings to pegs on fuselage, push wings
inward until flush with fuselage sides. Secure wings to fuselage with medium
screws (b) placed in holes at inner underside of wings.
Place landing gear in position on fuselage underside (with crossed lines facing
front of airplane), inserting posts on landing gear into fuselage holes. Using
two small screws (c) for each of the four flanges on the landing gear, secure
landing gear to fuselage.
Turn plane right side up. Hook outer lines on struts to loop at bottom end of
opposite strut on each side. (See Step 7 on illustration below.)
Attach lines (Step 8) from top of fuselage struts to lower loop on outer strut
across from it.
