This product is a component for installation in machinery in terms of the Machine directive 2006/42/CE.
Commissioning must not take place until it has been confirmed that the end product conforms with this
guideline.
The product is in compliance with the following directives and standards :
- 2006/95/EC directive (Low voltage) and 2004/108/EC directive (Electromagnetic compatibility).
- 97/23/EC directive (Pressure equipment) Category IV, modules B+D according to annex III.
- DIN EN ISO 23553-1 standard (safety shut-off devices for combustion plants using liquid fuels) and
EN 60730-1 standard (Automatic electric controls for household and similar use).
Conformity with low voltage directive 2006/95/EC and EN 60730-1 standard will be effective only after
having permanently and reliably fixed the solenoid valve onto a metallic support connected itself to
general earthing.
Safety Information
(Take note of the following points before commissioning)
SUNTEC SL1 in-line solenoid valve is intended to be used with high quality heating fuels which comply with local
standards, taking into account the specifications of each product. The use of synthetic vegetable oils requires
special products; consult SUNTEC.
Before commissioning, carefully read the installation and maintenance instructions.
Any shock on the metal body and on the coil of the valve may alter the operation and make it unsafe.
For a good functioning and for safety reason, please refer to the following values :
Coil voltage : see marking on the coil
Max. permissible pressure : see marking on the coil
Protection class: IP54 according to EN 60529
when used with SUNTEC connector cable
Ambiant temperature : -10°C to +60 °C
Ensure a filter (mesh 0,5 mm or smaller) is fitted on the pipework in front of the valve.
Check that the flow direction corresponds to the arrow marqued on the valve.
Please avoid that chips or seal material enter the valve.
Do not exceed the tightening torque value of 16 Nm when fitting the valve on the line.
Check fitting connections of the valve for tightness : do not use sealants, if necessary use a flat gasket.
The SL1 in-line solenoid valve is of the "normally closed" type. Before connecting the coil, be sure that
the voltage and the frequency of the supply agree with the voltage and frequency stamped on the coil.
Connect the female plug of the connector to the male plug of the valve (only one position is possible) do
not force it if the connection shows any strength.
For safety reason do not act on the solenoid valve when activated.
The valve is maintenance free.
Only the coil can be changed (Nut tightening torque = 1,2 N.m max.).
Do not act on any internal element, the Suntec warranty procedures could not apply anymore.

Dieses Produkt ist eine Komponente zum Einbau in Maschinen im Sinne der Maschinenrichtlinie
2006/427/EG. Die Inbetriebnahme ist solange untersagt, bis die Konformität des Endproduktes mit
dieser Richtlinie festgestellt ist.
Das Produkt entspricht den folgenden Richtlinien und Normen :
- Richtlinien 2006/95/EG (Niederspannung) und 2004/108/EG (elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit).
- Richtlinie 97/23/EG (Druckgeräte), Kategorie IV, Module B+D Gemäß Anhang III.
- Normen DIN EN ISO 23553-1 (Sicherheitsabsperreinrichtungen für Feuerungsanlagen mit flüssigen
Brennstoffen) und EN 60730-1 (Automatische elektrische Regel- und Steuergeräte für den Hausgebrauch und
ähnliche Anwendungen).
Die Übereinstimmung mit der Niederspannungsvorschrift 2006/95/EG und der Norm EN 60730-1 sind
nur gültig, wenn das Magnetventil dauernd mit einem Verbindungsstück Kontakt hat, der seinerseits
geerdet ist.
Sicherheitshinweise
(Diese Hinweise sind unbedingt vor Inbetriebnahme zu befolgen)
Suntec SL1 Inline-Magnetventil ist für Qualitätsbrennstoffe bestimmt, die den geltenden Normen
entsprechen und die Spezifikationen jedes Produktes berücksichtigen. Die Verwendung von
biosynthetischen Brennstoffen (pflanzliche Öle) erfordert spezielle Komponenten. Wenden Sie sich in
diesen Fällen an SUNTEC. Vor Inbetriebnahme müssen die Installations- und Instandhaltungshinweise
gelesen und befolgt werden. Mechanische Einwirkungen auf den Metallkörper und/oder Spule können die
Funktion beeinträchtigen und die Betriebssicherheit gefährden.
Für eine einwandfreie Funktion des Ventils und aus Sicherheitsgründen müssen folgende Grenzen
eingehalten werden:
Spannung Spule: siehe Kennzeichnung auf die Spule
Max. Betriebsdruck: siehe Kennzeichnung auf die Spule
Schutzart: IP54 (nach EN60529)
bei Verwendung mit SUNTEC Steckerkabel
Umgebungstemperatur: -10° C – +60° C
Es ist sicherzustellen, dass das Magnetventil nur mit gefiltertem Öl (Maschenweite < 0,5 mm)
betrieben wird. Betätigungsspannung und Druckverhältnisse mit Angabe auf dem Ventil vergleichen.
Darauf achten, dass keine Späne oder Dichtungsmaterial in das Ventil gelangen.
Das Anzugsmoment von 16 N.m darf bei der Montage des Ventil auf der Ölleitung nicht überschritten
werden. Die Verbindungsstellen des Ventils sind auf Dichtheit zu prüfen: es dürfen keine Dichtmittel
verwendet werden, falls erforderlich kann eine Flachdichtung eingebaut werden.
Das SL1 Inline-Magnetventil ist vom Typ „stromlos geschlossen". Bevor die Spule mit dem Kabel
verbunden wird, muss kontrolliert werden, dass Spannung und Frequenz den Angaben auf der Spule
entsprechen. Das Mutterteil des Anschlusskabels wird mit dem Vaterteil des elektrischen Gehäuses (es
ist nur eine Position möglich) verbunden. Die Anwendung von Gewalt im Falle einer schwergängigen
Verbindung ist zu vermeiden.
Eingriffe am System
Aus Sicherheitsgründen darf nicht am Ventil gearbeitet werden, wenn das Ventil in Betrieb ist.
Das SL1 Magnetventil ist wartungsfrei. Nur die Spule darf ausgetauscht werden (Mutter
Anzugsmoment = 1,2 N.m max.). Es darf nicht an den Innenteilen gearbeitet werden. Dadurch
erlöschen sofort alle Gewährleistungsansprüche an Suntec.
