Intended use
The product is used for power supply (PoE - Power over Ethernet) on a LAN output with simultaneous
data transmission. Power is supplied via a standard household mains socket. The product can convert a
voltage of 100 - 240 V/AC and supply an existing network cable with connected compatible devices of the
IEEE 802.3 af/at standard. The product is compatible with "Smart Plug and Play". The LAN output has an
output current limit of max. 30 W and is protected against short circuits.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g. in bathrooms)
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for
purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause
hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a
safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe safety instructions. If you do not
follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in these operating
instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to
property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Always observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• Disconnect the product from the power outlet when not in use.
• If the product shows signs of damage, do not touch it, there is a risk of death from an electric
shock! First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the product is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse or switch off at the
corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully disconnected). You can then
unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the damaged product in an
environmentally friendly manner, stop using it. Replace it with an identical product.
• The mains outlet must be located near the device and be easily accessible.
• The product must only be powered by a standard mains socket connected to the public grid.
Before plugging in the product, check that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds to
the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Electrical devices must never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
• Never disconnect electrical equipment from the power outlet by the cable, always pull it out of
the mains socket by gripping surfaces provided for this purpose.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged
by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses
a risk of injury.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the product from the mains socket during storms.
• Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the product.
If liquid or an object does enter the interior of the device, power down the respective socket
(e.g. switch off the circuit breaker), and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation that forms might destroy the product. Furthermore, this could cause
a lethal electric shock! Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and
putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Ensure there is sufficient air circulation when you operate the product. Never cover the
product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if you have
concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a specialist
repair centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions, please
contact our technical customer service or other professionals.

Setup
• Place the product on a levelled and clean surface. The product is equipped with non-slip rubber feet at
the bottom. Note that rubber feet can leave marks on sensitive surfaces. The product also has 2 openings
for screw fastening.
• Connect the connector of the supplied power cord to the power socket (1). Connect the power plug to an
appropriate power outlet. The LED indicator (2) lights up orange.
• Connect a compatible RJ45 network cable (twisted pair, at least CAT 5) to the LAN input (4).
• Connect a compatible RJ45 network cable (twisted pair, at least CAT 5) to the LAN output (3). You can
connect an IEEE 802.3 compatible device (such as an IP camera) to the other end of the network cable. A
total of 30 W are available. Note the "Technical data" section.
• As soon as the connection is active, the LED indicator lights up violet.
• Disconnect all connected devices from the product after use. Disconnect the product from the mains
socket after use. The LED indicator light goes out after a few seconds.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains socket and connected devices before cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as these can damage the
housing or impair the product function.
• Do not emerge the product in water or any liquids.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
