Quick charge adapter for smartphone

Intended use
Standard USB 2.0/3.0 ports charge smartphones or tablets with up to 500 mA/900 mA. The quick
charge adapter for smartphones allows the computer to supply higher currents without causing
damage and hence for mobile devices to be charged faster.
The product has been especially designed for the quick charge technologies of Apple and
Samsung, but can also be used for charging products of other brands with the difference that their
quick charge technologies are not supported.
Select different modes at the touch of a button for efficiently charging your Apple and Samsung
devices.
Always observe the safety and operating instructions of the devices to be
connected to this product.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read
the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety

handling in these operating instructions, we assume no liability for any resulting

• The product is not a toy. Keep away from children.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
• Always turn off the connected device before connecting/disconnecting it.
• Never leave the product and the connected device unattended during use.
• Do not cover the product during use.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.Consult a
professional if you require assistance with product operation, safety or connection.
• Maintenance work, adjustments and repairs may be carried out only by a professional or at a
specialist workshop.

Operation
• Remove the protective cap from the USB plug (1).
• Switch off the mobile device.
• Connect the charging cable of your mobile device to the USB socket (4) of the adapter.
• Connect the USB plug of the adapter to a USB power supply (min. USB 2.0).
• Select the desired mode by pressing the select button (2) according to the table below and
based on the color of the control light (3):

For data transmission during charging
• The battery of the mobile device will be charged and you can switch the mobile device on again.
• Switch off the mobile device, once its battery has been fully charged.
• Disconnect the adapter from the USB power supply and then disconnect the charging cable
from the mobile device.
• Charging operation is then complete.
Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains supply before cleaning.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• Clean the product with a dry, fiber-free cloth.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Install the protective cap when not using the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
