Intended Use
The plug-in light is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may be used and placed only in dry
interiors. The product is intended to be inserted in a wall socket.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed or
converted!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of

The icon with an exclamation mark indicates particular dangers associated with

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases!
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The product may be operated only on the mains voltage (see section "Technical
Data"). Never try to operate the product at another voltage, as this will cause its
destruction.
• The device is designed according to protection class I. Use the product only with a
usual grounded socket.
The mains socket into which the product is plugged must be easily accessible.
• The product may be used only in dry areas indoors. The light must not be exposed
to damp or moisture; danger of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this light in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where combus-
tible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not hang any items (e.g. decorations) on the light.
• Caution, LED light:: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be
turned off and precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentio-
nally. After this, arrange for an expert to check the product.

Getting Started, Use
• Plug the LED plug-in light into the grounded socket.
• The light is switched on or off with the turning knob on the front.
Turn knob left counter-clockwise = switch off
Turn knob right clockwise = switch on
• Adjust the gooseneck, so as to align the lamp as desired.
Maintenance and Care
• The LED plug-in lamp is maintenance-free. The LED light has a long service life and cannot
be replaced.
• Before cleaning, the LED plug-in lamp must be switched off and removed from the power
supply; disconnect it from the mains socket. After that, allow suffi cient time for the plug-in
lamp to cool down.
• The exterior of the LED plug-in lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is fl ickering light,
leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration
to the product or to adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• The accident prevention regulations of the association of compensation insurers
must be followed when using all electrical facilities and equipment in commercial
locations!
