BNC PoE Adapter Set

Intended use
This adapter set makes it possible to supply a camera easily with power and
to transfer the video image or video signal via a Cat5 cable.
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
The system components do not require a power supply.
Any use other than that described above is not permitted and may harm
the product and result in short circuits, fire, etc. The product must not be
modified or converted. Always observe the safety instructions included in
these operating instructions. Read the operating instructions carefully and
keep them for later reference.
Explanation of the symbols
The "lightning" symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates particular risks in handling, function
and use.
Safety instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by fai-
lure to observe these safety instructions! We do not assume
any liability for any consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety
instructions. The warranty will be null and void in such cases.

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the unit is
not permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not bend the connection cables or place objects on them.
• Observe the operating and safety instructions of the devices that
are operated with this adapter set.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables
between the different devices and any extension cables comply
with the regulations and comply with the operating instructions.
• Please contact an expert, if it is no longer safe to use the unit or
you have doubts about the function of the product. Never try to
repair the product or replace damaged cables yourself.
• Keep electrical devices out of the reach of children. Be especially
careful if children are around.
• Never expose the system components to extremely high or extre-
mely low temperatures, humidity or vibrations.
• Strong mechanical tensile or compression forces may lead to da-
mage.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become
dangerous playthings for children.
Notes on the range
It is possible that the camera stop functioning due to resulting voltage drop
in case of longer cable lengths. Use a high quality network cable or shorten
the available cable to the minimum length needed.
Maintenance and cleaning
Apart from an occasional cleaning this product is maintenance-free.
Please use a clean, lint-free and antistatic cloth to clean the product. Do not
use abrasive or chemical agents, or cleaners containing solvents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, in ac-
cordance with the current statutory regulations.
