Electrical connection

Depending on the device version that has been chosen, either a connector, terminals or a
fixed cable is to be used for the electrical connection.
4.1

Connection requirements

4.1.1

Required tools

• Electrical connection A
- Connection terminals: Head screwdriver 1.2 x 8.0 mm
- Connection head: Head screwdriver 1.0 x 6.0 mm
- Cable gland: Open-end wrench 17 mm (AF)
• Electrical connection D and G: depends on the connector used by the customer
4.1.2 Connecting cable requirements
The customer-supplied connection cable for the electrical connection A (connection head
with terminals and cable gland) must meet the following requirements:
• Permissible temperature range -20 ... +70°C (-4 ... +158°F)
• Standard installation cable
• Diameter 8 ... 11.5 mm (clamping range of the cable gland)
The fixed connection cable (electrical connection J) fulfills these requirements.
