For the QuadroCopter 450 mode, however, the camera holder can only be installed in

from authorities regarding the legal situation.

Safety Information
The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions! We do not assume any liability for
consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety information. In such
cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The product must not be modified or converted.
• The system components must not be exposed to any considerable mechanical strain.
• Before any flight with a camera installed at the QuadroCopter, verify that the holding rubber
rings are undamaged and fitted correctly. The manufacturer is not liable for dropped or lost
cameras.
• Keep the product away from children. It is not a toy.
• Do not leave any packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Observe all safety notes and other information in the operating instructions of the
QuadroCopter.
• If you have questions which are not answered in this manual, please contact us or other
specialists.
Installation of the Camera Holder and Camera
Before assembly of the camera holder and camera, inspect the rubber rings for
cracks or similar damage. Do not continue to use any damaged or worn rubber rings!
• Put the five rubber rings (2) from the delivery across the base plate (1).
• Install the base plate (1) to the lower QuadroCopter frame with the screws 25 x 2.5 mm (4).
For this, the outer landing gear screws must be removed from the central frame first. Then
the screws 25 x 2.5 mm (4) and spacer sleeves (3) are used to screw the base plate (1) to
the QuadroCopter. Observe figures 1 and 2.
• The moulded part has two different slants that therefore also permit two different camera
angles. Select the one suitable for you. Push the long rubber rings to the side a little and put
the moulded part (5) onto the base plate (1). The moulded part is held on the base plate with
the two short rubber rings.
• Put the camera on the moulded part and attach it with the long rubber rings. Ensure that the
rubbers do not touch or damage any switches or other operating elements of the camera,
or any sensors, or even the lens. Observe figure 3.
Practical advice:
Holding loops can be installed or are included with nearly all cameras. To be safe,
attach this holding loop to the QuadroCopter. This way, the camera cannot fall off or
even be lost if the rubber rings break.
Flying with the Camera
• The flight characteristics with the camera installed are characterised by slower reactions due
to the higher weight and aerodynamic changes. Therefore, get well used to the new flight
characteristics.
• Observe that the centre of gravity is changed because the camera is not attached centrally.
Version 12/11
Balance out this shift of the centre of gravity by moving the flight battery if possible.
• To avoid damage to the installed camera, select suitable take-off and landing sites
accordingly.
• Observe the maximum permissible additional load on your QuadroCopter.
