The product is designed for charging and connecting a suitable USB device. Power is
supplied via a normal household power outlet. The product features overload and short circuit
protection mechanisms.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If
you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be
damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric
shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

r ead the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting per‑
sonal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• D o not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• P rotect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• I f it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• P lease handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• A lso observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• Always turn off the connected device before connecting/disconnecting it.
• D isconnect the product from the power outlet and the USB device when it is not in
use.
• T he product gets hot during use. Ensure sufficient ventilation and never cover the
product during use.
• Do not short-circuit the USB output.
• N ever use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. It involves
danger to life by electric shock! Allow the device to reach room temperature before
connecting and using it. This may take several hours.
• Connect the appliance to a wall socket that can be accessed easily.
• Never leave the product and the connected device unattended during use.
• O nly connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on
the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• F or safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket during
storms.

• C onsult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• M aintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an

expert or at a qualified shop.
If you are not sure about the correct connection or use, or if questions arise which are not co-
vered by these operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support
or another qualified specialist.

m ake sure the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly,
it could overheat or cause an electric shock or fire.
m ake sure that your device meets the product's power requirements (see
technical data).
1. Connect the switched-off USB device to the product.
Y ou will find a micro USB plug and a separate Lightning UDB Adapter at the end of the
cable.
2. C onnect the product to a common household power outlet. The power indicator on the
product lights up to indicate the product is operational.
3. Y our USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.
4. Turn off the USB device before disconnecting the product from the power outlet.
5. Unplug the product after use.

Disconnect the product from the power outlet before cleaning. Clean the product with a dry,
fiber-free cloth.
DISPoSaL
E lectronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
A t the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
