Intended Use
The product is suitable for installation in a 48.26 cm (19") network cabinet. Up to
24 keystone modules can be installed in the product.
For safety purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric
shock. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this
product available to third parties together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If
you do not follow the safety information and information on proper
handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become
a dangerous toy for children.

jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of

• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a

• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the
product, or if you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or
a specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
Installation
• Press lightly on the locking clip of the black module carrier. Pull the module carrier
out of the patch panel.
• Insert a keystone module in the module carrier.
• Insert the module carrier back into the patch panel. The locking clip must thereby
engage.
• Secure the cable of the keystone module with a cable tie or the hook-and-loop
tape.
• Insert the patch panel in the network cabinet. Fix the patch panel with the supplied
installation material.
• Attach the ground cable to a suitable ground connection.
Care and Cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of with the household waste. At the end
of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
