Swordfish Document Shredders
SWORDFISH 2-YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR PARTS AND LABOUR
Swordfish document shredders are warranted against failure or malfunction due to faulty components or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase
by the original consumer. Defects or failures, which have been caused by incorrect or wrongful use, regardless whether unintentional or intentional during the operation
or maintenance of the device, are excluded from the warranty. There are no user-serviceable parts inside a Swordfish shredder. Unauthorized repair or attempts to
service the unit will invalidate the warranty.
Oiling is an essential part of shredder maintenance and is necessary in order to maintain the warranty. Swordfish document shredders have been designed to shred only
those materials outlined within the instructions*.
Non-compliance with Swordfish's instructions will invalidate the warranty.
For service of the unit under warranty, please return your Swordfish office machine with proof of purchase to your dealer or contact Swordfish customer service. In the
event of returning the machine under warranty, suitable packaging must be used. Insufficient packaging resulting in damage will invalidate the warranty.
* Please note that shredding sheets fastened by staples or paperclips will progressively wear down the cutting blades.
For CD/DVD shredding, Swordfish shredders have been designed to shred up to 100 CDs/DVDs during the warranty period. Damage caused by excessive shredding of fastened
sheets, CDs or DVDs is not covered within the warranty.

Swordfish Aktenvernichter haben eine Garantie für 2 Jahre ab Original-Kaufdatum, die Versagen oder Funktionsstörungen infolge von Herstellungs- oder
Materialfehlern abdeckt. Beschädigungen oder Defekte, die durch falsche Bedienung, egal ob unbeabsichtigt oder beabsichtigt, oder durch Nichtbeachtung der
Anweisungen von Swordfish für Bedienung und Service entstehen, sind von dieser Garantie ausgeschlossen. Ein Swordfish Aktenvernichter enthält keine Teile, die vom

Für Reparatur- oder Servicearbeiten während der Garantiezeit senden Sie die Swordfish Büromaschine bitte zusammen mit dem Kaufbeleg an Ihren Fachhändler oder
nehmen Sie Kontakt mit dem Kundendienst von Swordfish auf. Bei Rücksendung des Geräts während der Garantiezeit muss eine geeignete Verpackung verwendet
werden. Bei Beschädigung infolge unzureichender Verpackung wird die Garantie ungültig.
* Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Schneiden von Dokumenten mit Heft- oder Büroklammern zu einer stärkeren Abnutzung der Klingen führt. In Bezug auf das Vernichten
von CDs/DVDs sind Swordfish Aktenvernichter auf bis zu 100 CDs/DVDs während der Garantiezeit ausgelegt. Schäden durch das übermäßige Schneiden von gehefteten/
geklammerten Dokumenten und CDs/ DVDs sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

non, ainsi que le non-respect des instructions de Swordfish pendant l'utilisation ou la maintenance de l'appareil entraînent une exclusion de garantie. La déchiqueteuse
Swordfish ne comporte aucune pièce dont l'utilisateur peut assurer l' e ntretien. Toute réparation non autorisée et toutes tentatives d' e ntretenir l'appareil auront pour effet
d'invalider la garantie.
La lubrification constitue une partie essentielle de l' e ntretien de la déchiqueteuse et est obligatoire au maintien de la garantie. Les déchiqueteuses Swordfish ont été
conçues pour déchiqueter exclusivement les matériaux visés dans le mode d' e mploi.* Le non-respect du mode d' e mploi de Swordfish invalidera la garantie.
Pour toute intervention sous garantie, merci de contacter le service après-vente de Swordfish ou de renvoyer au revendeur la machine de bureau accompagnée de la
preuve d'achat. Utiliser un emballage approprié pour renvoyer la machine sous garantie. Un conditionnement insuffisant entraînant des dommages invalidera la garantie.
* Veuillez noter que déchiqueter des feuilles attachées par des agrafes ou des trombones entraînera l'usure progressive des lames. Pour déchiqueter des CD/DVD, les
déchiqueteuses Swordfish ont été conçues pour déchiqueter jusqu'à 100 CD/DVD au cours de la période de garantie. La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages attribuables à un
déchiquetage excessif de feuilles attachées, de CD ou de DVD.

Installation

Connect the electricity plug to any standard power socket

Slide switch to AUTO position until it locks into place
•
In the case of emergency, press the red STOP button to discontinue power
This shredder has a safety feature and will not shred unless the head is installed correctly:

The shredder head should sit flush on top of the waste bin
•
The shredder will only operate when the waste bin is pushed firmly closed

Lubrication Sachets
Empty the waste bin. Switch the
shredder to AUTO and feed one
lubrication sachet directly into
the feed slot (Figure 1). Once the
sachet has completely shredded,
run the shredder in REVERSE for
approximately 10 seconds to
complete lubrication.

Swordfish Shredder Oil Bottle
Switch the shredder off. Open the
micro dispenser carefully and apply
around 10ml of shredder lubricant
directly into the feed slot (Figure
2). Ensure oil is applied along the
length of the feed opening. Switch
the shredder on and run in REVERSE
for 10 seconds to distribute the oil
onto the cutters. Alternatively, a
strip of lubricant across a sheet of
