6. Zone Extension
Selection of Device Addresses
To extend the number of zones max 4 units UMM 8800 can be cascaded what results in
max 32 zones.
To ensure proper communication amongst the units they have to be configured as master
and slave.
Informations:
LINE1 - LINE8 of the master unit are the only inputs being active. On the slave units these inputs are
w/o function.
A paging mic UPM 8808 can only be connected tot he master unit. By using an optional extension
units UPX 8808 you can also call into the zones of the slave unit(s)
The MIC input is only routed in the zones of the unit where the mic is connected to.
Connection Between the Units
Connect the LINK OUT output of the master unit with the LINK IN input oft he Eingang
Slave 1 unit.
