• Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket:
– before you remove and/or insert the blending container,
– if you are not using the device,
– before a storm or
– before you clean the device.
• If you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull
on the cable, but always on the plug.
• Never submerge the motor unit in water or other liquids! Make
sure that the motor unit, the cord or the plug can not fall in water
or get wet.
• If the device falls in water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
• Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
• Never cover the device with cloths or the like. Danger of overheating!
• Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e.g. hobs or ovens.
Damage to property and the device
• Check the device for damages prior to each use. The device
may not be used if the device, the connection line, plug or the
accessories exhibit visible damages.
• If the device is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If
the device, the connection line or the device plug is damaged,
it must be repaired by the manufacturer or customer service or
by a similarly qualifi ed person to avoid any risks. In the event of
damage, contact the customer service department.
• Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusi-
vely those recommended by the manufacturer. Only use original
spare parts provided by the manufacturer.
• Only use the device if it has been completely assembled, is not
damaged, and is fully functional!
• Do not leave the device unattended when it has been activated.
• During operation, make sure the device has a stable position.
• Only use the device in enclosed areas.
• Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
hazard. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of a table
or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch him/herself and pull
down the device.
