4. Before Installation/Commissioning

The light may only be operated once removed from the packaging.

Remove the light from the packaging carefully.

Make sure that the light has not been damaged during transport before putting the light into operation.
The light may not be operated if there are any damages to electrical parts. Repairs may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.

Keep packaging materials away from children and pets. Asphyxiation hazard!
5. Installation/Commissioning

This product can only be installed by a qualified electrician.

The connection lines in the building must be disconnected before installation and secured against being
switched back on. For this, trip the corresponding fuse switch in the building installation.

Observing the safety and warning instructions, place the recessed ground spotlight in the required
position
Make sure that no water can collected in this position (formation of puddles)

After placing the plastic base housing in the required position, make sure that the recessed ground cup is
securely fixed to the foundation.

Now connect the building installation's connection lines to the lines on the light (push terminal/screw
terminal). The cable connection must be designed for IP67.

Do not bend the cables; make sure that the cables and plugs are not subject to tension or torsional
forces. Protect all cables and insulation against possible damages.

Check proper connection once again.

Then insert the recessed ground spotlight into the plastic ground housing. Pay attention to a sturdy and
reliable attachment.

Pay attention to possible tripping hazards when installing the recessed ground spotlight and when laying
the cables.

Switch the building installation's fuse switch back on.
