Congratulations on your new Morsø Fire Pot
The Morsø Fire Pot's clean lines and simple, functional design are typical of Morsø's products. The
Morsø Fire Pot is the ideal choice for the family who likes to spend cosy moments in the garden
enjoying e.g. campfire bread – or simply as decoration on the patio or by the front door. The Morsø
Fire Pot is made from double-coated sheet iron, which will be sure to last for many years if it's used
and cared for correctly. Behind every Morsø product is more than 160 years of experience, as well as
thorough quality control conducted by our employees throughout the production process. If you're
also looking to use the Morsø Fire Pot as a grill, an enamelled grate can be bought separately, the
Morsø Tuscan Grill, product number 62981001.

SAFETY INFORMATION

• Never leave the Fire Pot unattended until all the flames and embers have gone out.
• Using water to extinguish the fire can cause the sheet iron to buckle and warp.
• The Morsø Fire Pot becomes very hot when stoking. Particular care should therefore be taken
especially if children and pets are in the vicinity of the fire pit.
• Do not use flammable liquid to light or keep the fire going.
• Be careful that the temperature doesn't become too hot when using the stove. Wear gloves.
• Watch out for sparks and flames.
• When grilling, only use kitchen utensils that can withstand high temperatures. Pots and pans etc.
must either be made of cast iron, aluminium or black steel. Teflon and silicone are not suitable.
Where to place your Morsø Fire Pot
• It's important that the Morsø Fire Pot is placed on a non-flammable, flat, horizontal surface.
• The Morsø Fire Pot must be placed at least 1 m from flammable surfaces and materials on all sides.
• The Morsø Fire Pot must only be used outdoors and must not be placed under or near overhangs or
low-hanging branches.
Removing ash and embers
• Use a metal shovel to remove ash/embers.
• Use a metal bucket with a tight-fitting metal lid to store ash and embers. Always place the
bucket on a non-flammable surface a good distance away from flammable materials.
• When the ash is completely cold it can be disposed of with the household waste.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

The Morsø Fire Pot is made from 2.5 mm sheet iron, surface-treated with heat-resistant paint. This en-
sures it will last for many seasons with the correct use and care. The Morsø Fire Pot can be vacuumed
with a soft brush and cleaned with soapy water once the Fire Pot is cold. The Morsø Fire Pot can be
freshened up with Morsø Spray paint, product number 62906300, available from your Morsø dealer.
