Storage and Transportation
– Always store the brazier in a dry condition.
– Store the brazier at a place not exposed
to frost.
– Protect the brazier from damage during
transportation.
Device-specific instructions
– Only use the brazier outdoors; it may
not be used indoors under any circum-
stances.
– The brazier may be placed indoors for
decoration purposes only. It is forbidden
to use it indoors.
– Never use the brazier under a canvass
or porch roof.
– To ensure a safe operation of the brazi-
er, always use it on a solid, even surface
with a sufficient bearing capacity.
– Before using the brazier, set it up at a
safe place on an even surface, pref-
erably protected from wind.
– Use only dry lighters or special fluid
lighters compliant with EN 1860-3 as
firelighters. Make sure to observe the
manufacturer's instructions.
– Never use liquids such as petrol, turpen-
tine, spirits etc. to light or re-light the fire.
These substances inflame explosively
and are poisonous to some extent. Use
dry firelighters or a chimney starter in-
stead.
– Never add a fluid firelighter or charcoal/
firewood soaked in fluid firelighter on hot
or warm charcoal/firewood.
– Never leave children or pets unattended
near the brazier. Be extra careful when
starting the fire!
– Maintain a safety distance of 3 meters
from flammable materials.

– The brazier becomes very hot during
operation; therefore, never move the
brazier with fire in it.
– Only tip out the ash once the charcoal
has completely burned out and cooled
down. Never throw hot ashes away in
ordinary household waste. This would
pose a great risk of fire!

– Always wear fire-resistant gloves (e.g.,
barbecue gloves) when adding charcoal
or firewood to the brazier.
– Wear appropriate clothing. Avoid loose
sleeves as they can easily catch fire.
– Wear firm, enclosed shoes. Sandals do
not provide any protection from hot em-
bers!
– Never leave an open fire or embers
unattended. This poses a risk of per-
sonal injury and fire!
– To be prepared for emergency situa-
tions, always have a bucket of sand
nearby to put out the fire.
– Always tip out the remaining charcoal
and ash in a non-flammable metal con-
tainer and fill it up with water. Let the
charcoal and water stand for 24 hours
in the metal container before disposing
of it completely.
– In principal, you should only use
well-dried firewood (stored for at least
3 years) or ordinary briquettes for open
fire.
– Never use the brazier for grilling.
– Please consider your neighbors so that
they are not disturbed with odors or
smoke and their property or assets are
not exposed to a risk of fire.
