4. ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSMENT
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSMENT
DANGER OF INJURY!
Before all adjustment and settings:
- Turn the power tool off
- Wait until the power tool has come to a complete standstill
- Disconnect the tool from the outlet
REMOVING OR INSTALLING PLANER BLADES (Fig.3)
1. Loosen the three bolts.
2. Slide the clamping element 3 together with the blade 2 out of the cylinder 5 and
remove the blade from the clamping element.
3. Flip the blade (both cutting edges of the blade can be used) or replace it with a
new one. Reassemble in the reverse order.
4. Place the blade 2 in the clamping element 3 (make sure the cutting edge is in the
right direction!). The holes in the blade should match the adjusting eccentrics.
5. Place the blade and the clamping element in the cylinder 5.
6. Turn the bolts 4 slightly to the left; To adjust the cutting blades.
7. Use a smooth and flat piece of wood to set the blade 2 so that the end of the blade
is flush with the side of the front base plate of the plane ( the side used for making
rebates).
8. Place a smooth and flat piece of wood as shown in Fig.3 over the cutter blades on
the side of the rear base plate.
9. Turn the adjusting eccentrics until the blade just touches the piece of wood.
10. Do the same on the other side of the rear base plate.
11. Tighten the three bolts completely.
12. Rotate the cutter 180° and set the other blade the same way.
13. If the blade is set correctly it just touches the pieces of wood.
14. Check periodically to make sure that the blades are tightly fastened and aligned
symmetrically!
DEPTH CUT ADJUSMENT (Fig.4)
1. Turn the planning depth adjustment knob 1 to set the proper depth of cut.
2. One revolution of dial disc 2 equals a 2,5 mm. change in depth, one graduation
corresponds to a depth of cut 0,2 mm.
CHAMFERING (Fig.5)
To make a cut as shown in the figure, align the "V" groove in the front base with the
edge of the workpiece and plane it as shown in the figure.
EDGE FENCE (Guide rule)
Edge fence is useful for minimizing a short run of cut by cutting in a uniform width.
The edge fence (guide rule) is provided on the side of the tool. Press two pins for the
edge fence (guide rule) so that the edge fence appears. Move the tool forward while
keeping the flat surface of the edge fence in contact with the side of the workpiece.
To return the edge fence to an original position, push it upwards from the underside.
CAUTION! Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before.

5. OPERATION
ADJUSTING THE EXHAUST DIRECTION (Fig.10)
Control the direction of debris when working in confined areas.
Change the direction of the exhaust to either the right or left. Follow these steps to
adjust the exhaust direction.
1. Unplug the planer
2. Adjust the exhaust direction and dust bag.
- To adjust exhaust to right – rotating move the exhaust direction knob to the right
- To adjust exhaust to left – rotating move the exhaust direction knob to the left
REBATES AND BEVELS
- To make a rebate and to plane at an angle use the parallel/angle guide.
To cut a rebate adjust the depth guide to the desired rebate depth ( compared with
the rear base surface) and fix the position with wing nut.
- Set the desired rebate width using parallel/angle guide ( the reference point is the
edge of the blade) and fix the position with the wing nut.
OPERATION
SWITCH ON AND OFF (Fig.9)
Before the engage the on/off switch, check that the saw blade is properly fitted and run
smoothly, the blade clamp screw is well tightened.
- Connect the plug to the power supply. To switch on the planer, press the lock off
button 1 and pull the switch trigger 2.
Prior to operation, always observe the safety instructions.
- Set the proper depth of cut the move speed and depth of cut determine the kids of
finish, for rough cutting the depth of cut can be increased, while for a good finish you
should reduce the depth of cut and advance the tool more slowly.
- Rest the tool front shoe flat upon the workpiece surface without the blades making
any contact.
- Switch on and wait until the blades attain full speed.
- Move the tool gently forward. Apply pressure on the depth adjustment of cut with one
hand, and at the soft hand with the other hand.
INSTALLS THE ELECTRICITY TO BIG ON THE SUPPORT (Fig.2)
- The front 1 rear 2 support part alignment electric planer body 8.
- With fastening screw 7 fix up the front 1 rear 2 support.
Note: Under the protective plate 3 center axis of the front support.
Use standard accessories of screws 6 fix up to the planer body.
- Tighten screw 7 with support twist on the planer body 8 threaded holes.
- Please pay attention to protection of the plate 3 installation correctness. The plate 3
in the spring of protection board should be flexible mobile, no processing materials
when knives completely covered.
Note: Installed in the support planer malfunction, or no protection board 3, absolutely
forbidden planer works.
- Installing parallel rails components (A) to planer body 8. According to require adjust
the position parallel rails components (A).
