A1011 3.5 Inch External Disk Drive
User's Guide
The A1011 External 3.5 Inch Disk Drive is functionally identical to the internal
disk drive in your Amiga computer. To connect the external drive to your
Amiga, follow the steps outlined below:

Turn off the power to your Amiga computer.

The external disk drive has a cable with a 23-pin D connector on one end.
Take the connector and insert it into the DISK DRIVE port on the back of your
Amiga. The connector only fits in one direction. Tighten the screws on each
side of the connector with a screwdriver.

Turn the Amiga back on. The external disk drive draws its power from the
Amiga.
You use the A1011 in the same way as the internal disk drive. Insert disks with
the metal side down, and push the button on the drive to remove a disk. When
the light on the disk drive is on it means that the Amiga is accessing the disk,
either writing information to it or reading information from it. DO NOT
REMOVE A DISK FROM THE DRIVE WHILE THE LIGHT IS ON. YOU MAY
DAMAGE BOTH THE DISK AND YOUR FILES.
