11 Schmierung
1.
Motoröl:
Schmiermittel haben einen entscheidenden Einfluss
auf die Betriebssicherheit von Maschinen. Vor dem
Gebrauch des Glätters immer das Motoröl überprüfen

Blattkreuzschmierung
Es befinden sich 8 Schmiernippel an den
Blattkreuzen, jeder muss täglich geschmiert
werden. DAS BLATTKREUZ MUSS VOR
JEDEM
WERDEN.
3.
Getriebe
Überprüfen Sie täglich, dass sich der Ölfüllstand
bei beiden Getrieben in der Mitte des Schauglases
befindet. Die Füllmenge beträgt 767 ml.
4.
Getriebeölwechsel
Stellen Sie eine Auffangwanne unter das
Getriebe. Entfernen Sie die Ablass- und die
Einfüllschraube des Getriebes. Nachdem das Öl
vollständig ausgelaufen ist, drehen Sie die
Ablassschraube wieder fest. Füllen Sie das neue
Getriebeöl durch die Einlassöffnung ein.
5.
Getriebe (B424)
Entfernen Sie die Ablassschraube auf der
Rückseite des Getriebes um das Öl abzulassen
und wieder zu befüllen.
6.
Schmierung
Es müssen 6 Kugellager geschmiert werden. Die
Lager befinden sich über den Getrieben (2 pro
Getriebe)

11 Lubrication
1.
Engine Oil:
The long life and successful operation of any
piece of machinery is dependent on frequent and
thorough lubrication. Before using the trowel,
always check your engine for oil.
2.
Spider Plate - Grease
There are 8 (eight) grease fittings on the spider
plates, each must be greased daily. THE SPIDER
PLATE MUST BE GREASED EVERY TIME
MACHINE IS USED.
3.
Gearbox
Check the oil level sight plug on both gearboxes
daily to ensure the oil is half way on the site
glass. Top up with Agma 8 compounded gear oil
only. Gearbox capacity is 767 ml.
4.
To Change Gearbox Oil
Place a pan beneath the drain plug to catch the oil.
Remove the drain plug and the filler plug from
the gearbox. After the oil has drained completely,
replace the drain plug and tighten. Fill gearbox
through the filler plug. Replace the filler and
tighten.
5.
Gearbox (B424 Edger)
Remove drain plug from back of gearbox to drain
and refill with 10.1 oz. (0.3 L) of Shell Tivela
Compound A or similar.
6.
Grease Fittings
There are 6 bearings in total. Grease all bearings
and U-joints to ensure adequate supply of

lubricant. They are located above the gearboxes
auch

(2 per gearbox) and 2 located in the drive system.
The U-joints are located in the drive system as
well.
