The Enraf-Nonius Packheater is suitable for heating
approximately 30 hot/cold packs (13 x 30 cm). The
standard model is supplied with a plasticized
stainless steel base grid. The table model has a
short heating up time. The water temperature is
accurately maintained by a thermostat at a
preselected value (50°C - 100°C). Should the
appliance ever boil dry, a special thermal cut out
shuts off the power and protects the Packheater
against overhheating.
It is important to read the operating instructions
carefully before using the Packheater. Make sure
this operating instructions are at all times available
to all personnel. The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for the results of using this apparatus
for any purpose other than described in this manual.

1. Installation

• Do not install the unit near a heat source such
as a radiator.
• Put the Packheater on a stable surface.
2. Connections
• Disconnect the mains cable if the Packheater is
not used for a longer period of time and empty
the Packheater.
• Before connecting this apparatus to the mains
supply, check if the mains voltage and frequency
stated on the type plate correspond to that of

• This unit should only be connected to an earthed
wall socket.
3. Filling
The maximum capacity of the tablemodel Packheater
is 29 liters.
• Do not overfill the water container. The water le-
vel should be at least 4 cm below the contai-
ner's edge.
• Do not use other liquids than water.
• The use of decalcified and/or demineralised
water is not necessary.
4. Setting the temperature

60°C - 80°C for use with Hotpacks
80°C - 90°C for use with Steampacks
Remark: For hygienic reasons, we recommend you
to fill the unit with 6 liters of clean water and boil
(100°C) for 15 minutes before the Packheater is
used for the first time.
5. After use
• Set the temperature to 0°C.
• Disconnect the mains cable if the Packheater is
not used for a longer period of time.
• Empty the Packheater.
6. Cleaning
• Disconnect the mains cable.
• Never immerse the unit in water.
