AS051 Instructions
Note: Following instructions, wait to unwind lines
until ready to connect; otherwise lines can become
tangled. Before you begin rigging, make sure lines
hang free. If a line is slack after a step is competed,
use the slider attached to the line to tighten.
1. Center Keel in stand as illustrated.
2. Set Mast in Mast Step, with Mainsail
Boom pointing toward the stern.
3. Hook line from Boom to deck
eyelet E1.
4. Raise the Gaff Spar by pulling
down on end of line running
from eyelets at top of Gaff to
top of Mast. Hook end to
port deck eyelet E2.
5. Hook fore corner of
Foresail to Bowsprit
eyelet E3.
6. Raise the Foresail
by pulling down
on end of line
running from
top of sail to
eyelet on mast. Hook
end to starboard deck
eyelet E4.
7. Hook ends of line from aft
corner of Foresail to eyelets
E2 and E4.
8. Hook ends of Shroud lines
hanging from top of Mast to
deck eyelets E5 and E6.
