conference calls using Skype or MSN
with your AudioChat BT, you will have to
get to know how the Bluetooth programs
work (Widcomm Broadcom, which is
what Microsoft use in Windows 7 and IVT
or BlueSoleil are recommended). These
programs allow you to choose between the
"Stereo Audio" mode (for listening to stereo
music) and the "Hands-free Audio" mode
(to make a video conference call using the
microphone incorporated in the ClipAudio
BT).
Windows 7 includes by default the bluetooth
drivers from Broadcom, be sure to use the
version Sevicepack 1 or later versions of
Windows 7.
Some computers do not have bluetooth
chipsets or a dongle USB-BT that allows
us to work with Windows 7 or simply will
not transmit stereo sound, be them old
bluetooth "BT" chipsets.
In the pairing up process of the AudioChat
BT with Windows 7, sometimes error icons
will appear like this one, and you should
download the updates of the internal
bluetooth drivers that Windows 7 uses,
given that these are not updated. Right-click
the mouse on the icon or over the Windows
7 menu that will indicate how to update the
internal bluetooth drivers.
Note: It is very important for you to
know beforehand if both the Bluetooth
chipset included on your computer and
the USB-BT Dongle that you install (if
your computer does not have Bluetooth),
comply with the A2DP profile so you can
listen to music in stereo.
