a. To set current "Day" and "Time"
1. Press [CLOCK]
2. Use [+] or [-] to select day {MO – TU – WE – TH – FR – SA – SU}
3. Press [CLOCK]

5. Press [CLOCK]
6. Use [+] or [-] to select minute
7. Press [CLOCK] to accept
b. To program a "Code" into a "Memory"
1. Press [MEMORY] as necessary to select desired memory {1, 2, 3 or 4}
2. Press and hold [CODE] for 3 seconds – current code flashes upon release
3. Use [+] or [-] to select appropriate equipment code – see reverse of mimic® for list.
4. Press [CODE] to accept
5. To review press [MEMORY] as necessary to select desired memory {1, 2, 3 or 4} – if incorrect code repeat from
step 2.
c. Auto Search for a "Code"
To "auto search" for a code follow steps b1 and b2 above, then index up or down through the available codes by
pressing [+] or [-]. Upon selection of the correct code the A/C unit will start. Proceed with steps b4 and b5 (above) to
save and / or review the code.
d. To control an A/C unit
Note: the display indicates ambient temperature UNLESS the set point is being changed, in which case the set point
is shown.
1. Press [MEMORY] as necessary {1, 2, 3 or 4} to select pre-programmed code
2. Press [+] or [-] as necessary to select temperature set point
3. Press [MODE] as necessary to select mode of operation {auto – cool – dry – fan – heat}
4. Press [FAN] as necessary to select fan speed {auto – fast – medium – slow}
5. Press [SWING] as necessary to select swing mode {swing – fixed} – Note: only available on some A/C units.
6. If Swing is set to "fixed" then [VANE] can be used to adjust vane angle – Note: only available on some A/C units.
e. To use the timer function
Note: for the timer function to operate correctly the mimic® must remain pointed at the unit in question – the rear-
mounted stand can be used for this purpose if necessary.
1-day-timer-function – allows the setting of ONE "start" and ONE "stop" in the following 24 hr period.
5-day-timer-function - allows the setting of ONE "start" and ONE "stop" in the following 24 hr period, repeated for up to
5 working days, this function will automatically cancel at the end of the working week
7-day-timer-function – allows the setting of ONE "start" and ONE "stop" in the following 24 hr period, repeated for 7
days, this function will automatically cancel 7 days after being set.
1. Press [MEMORY] as necessary {1, 2, 3 or 4} to select pre-programmed code
2. The 1-day-timer-function is selected by default;
to select the 5-day-timer-function press [5DAY] – display indicates "DAY". Press [5DAY] to de-select if necessary;
to select the 7-day-timer-function press [7DAY] – display indicates "WEEK". Press [7DAY] to de-select if necessary.
3. Press [TIMER] to select timer function – "START" flashes
4. Use [+] to select required start time in hours (note – hold down key to advance fast)
5. Use [-] to select required start time in minutes (note – hold down key to advance fast)
6. Press [SET/CANCEL] to accept start time – display indicates "START"; "STOP" flashes
7. Use [+] to select required stop time in hours (note – hold down key to advance fast)
8. Use [-] to select required stop time in minutes (note – hold down key to advance fast)
9. Press [SET/CANCEL] to accept stop time
10. If correctly set display will indicate "START" and "STOP" icons
11. To cancel the "start" and "stop" times press [SET/CANCEL]
12. To review the "start" and "stop" times press [TIMER] (if necessary adjust as above)
Note: It is also possible to set a "start" time ONLY by missing out steps 8, 9 and 10 and pressing [TIMER] instead, the
display will only read "start" in this case.

f. Care of the mimic®

alien und Spezifikationen unangekündigt ändern.
a. Einstellen von Tag und Uhrzeit (CLOCK / Uhr):
1. [CLOCK] drücken
2. Mit der Taste [+] oder [-] den Tag wählen {MO – TU/DI – WE/MI – TH/DO – FR – SA – SU/SO}
3. [CLOCK] drücken
4. Mit der Taste [+] oder [-] die Stunde wählen
5. [CLOCK] drücken
6. Mit der Taste [+] oder [-] die Minuten wählen
7. [CLOCK] als Bestätigung der Eingabe drücken
b. Hinterlegen eines Codes in den Speicher (MEMORY / Speicher):
1. [MEMORY] mehrfach drücken, bis der gewünschte Speicher {1, 2, 3 oder 4} gewählt ist.
2. [CODE] drücken und 3 Sekunden halten – der jeweils aktuelle Code leuchtet nach Freigabe auf.
3. Mit der Taste [+] oder [-] den jeweiligen Anlagencode wählen – Liste siehe Rückseite der mimic®.
4. [CODE] als Bestätigung der Eingabe drücken.
5. Als Kontrolle [MEMORY] drücken, um den gewünschten Speicher {1, 2, 3 oder 4} zu wählen – ist der Code
falsch, Vorgang ab Schritt 2 wiederholen.
c. Automatische Suche nach einem Code:
Schritte b1 und b2 (siehe oben) befolgen. Zur automatischen Suche die Taste [+] oder [-] gedrückt halten. Die Fern-
bedienung dabei auf die Anlage gerichtet halten. Sowie der korrekte Code gefunden wurde, nimmt die Klimaanlage
ihren Betrieb auf. Den ausgewählten Code nach Schritt b4 und b5 (siehe oben) speichern und/oder kontrollieren.
d. Einstellen einer Klimaanlage:
Hinweis: Standardmäßig wird die Umgebungstemperatur angezeigt (Haus-Symbol). Bei Änderung der Temperaturein-
stellung, wird kurzzeitig der neue Sollwert (SET) angezeigt. Nach kurzer Zeit springt die Anzeige wieder um.
1. [MEMORY] mehrfach drücken, bis der gewünschte Speicher {1, 2, 3 oder 4} gewählt ist.
2. Je nach Bedarf [+] oder [-] drücken, um die Temperatur einzustellen.
3. [MODE / Modus] drücken, um Betriebsmodus {Auto – Kühlung – Trocknen – Ventilator – Wärme} zu wählen.
4. [FAN / Ventilator] drücken, um die Geschwindigkeit {auto – schnell – mittel – langsam} zu wählen.
5. [SWING / Schwenken] drücken, um den Schwenkmodus {schwenken – fest} zu wählen.
Hinweis: Funktion nicht bei allen Klimaanlagen vorhanden.
6. Ist der Schwenkmodus "fest", kann mit [VANE / Luftleitblech] der Luftaustrittwinkel eingestellt werden.

e. Verwenden der Zeitschaltuhrfunktion:
Hinweis: Für die korrekte Funktion der Zeitschaltuhr muss die mimic® auf die jeweilige Anlage gerichtet bleiben – der
rückseitig angebrachte Ständer kann bei Bedarf für diesen Zweck verwendet werden.
1-Tag-Funktion: Programmierung EINES „Starts" und EINES „Stopps" innerhalb eines 24-Stunden-Zeitraums.
5-Tage-Funktion: Programmierung EINES "Starts" und EINES "Stopps" innerhalb eines 24-Stunden-Zeitraums; gültig für
die nächsten fünf Arbeitstage. Diese Funktion erlischt automatisch am Ende der Arbeitswoche.

1. [MEMORY] mehrfach drücken, bis der gewünschte Speicher {1, 2, 3 oder 4} gewählt ist.
2. Die 1-Tag-Funktion ist werkseitig voreingestellt.
Für 5-Tage-Funktion [5DAY / 5Tage] drücken. "DAY / Tag" wird angezeigt. Abwahl durch erneutes Drücken.
Für 7-Tage-Funktion [7DAY / 7Tage] drücken. "WEEK / Woche" wird angezeigt. Abwahl durch erneutes Drücken.
3. [TIMER / Zeitschaltuhr] drücken, um die Zeiten zu programmieren. "START" blinkt auf.
4. Mit Taste [+] die gewünschte Startzeit-Stunde wählen (Hinweis: Zum Schnelllauf, Taste gedrückt halten).
5. Mit Taste [-] die gewünschte Startzeit-Minute wählen (Hinweis: Zum Schnelllauf, Taste gedrückt halten).
6. [SET/CANCEL / Einstellen/Löschen] drücken, um die Startzeit zu akzeptieren. "START" wird fest angezeigt.
"STOP" blinkt auf.
7. Mit der Taste [+] die gewünschte Stoppzeit-Stunde wählen (Hinweis: Zum Schnelllauf, Taste gedrückt halten).
8. Mit der Taste [-] die gewünschte Stoppzeit-Minute wählen (Hinweis: Zum Schnelllauf, Taste gedrückt halten).
9. [SET/CANCEL] drücken, um die Stoppzeit zu akzeptieren.
10. Bei korrekter Eingabe werden "START" und "STOP" angezeigt.
11. Zum Löschen von Start- und Stoppzeit [SET/CANCEL] drücken.
12. Zum Verändern von Start- und Stoppzeit [TIMER] drücken und wie oben beschrieben verfahren.
Hinweis: NUR Startzeit programmieren ist möglich, indem Schritte 8, 9 und 10 übergangen werden und stattdessen
[TIMER] gedrückt wird. Das Display zeigt in diesem Fall nur "START" an.

f. Pflege der mimic®:
