Firmware installation guide
1. On device page (genesis-zone.com), click on "DOWNLOADS", download on hard drive "Genesis Tin 200 Firmware vX.X" ( le name
might be updated).
2. Extract les in any place on hard-drive.
3. Connect TIN 200 adapter to USB port of PC/laptop.
4. Open GenesisUpdate 1.11.exe application ( le name might be updated).
5. Click "Open File" button and search for extracted le in localization into which you extracted les in point 2. Choose le "Genesis
Tin 200 rmware v1.1C.bin" ( le name might be updated).
6. After choosing rmware update le (.bin), click "Auto update" button for rmware update.
7. "PASS" info means device was updated successfully.
8. Device can be disconnected from PC/laptop and used with console.
Canceling rmware installation won't damage device, however we suggest not doing so while it's under way. In case of problems
during installation (i.e. "Time out !! Please check device and try again later" – means there is connection problem with device) we
suggest connecting device again / connecting it with di erent cable / using di erent USB port.
Genesis Tin 200 Key Assistant software configuration
1. Download le "Genesis Tin 200 Software" from device page (genesis-zone.com, "DOWNLOADS" tab). Extract it to any place on
hard-drive.
2. Connect Tin 200 adapter to PC/laptop.
3. Open "Genesis Tin 200 KeyAssistant.exe" application.
4. Next to "MODE" choose console of interest.
5. Main menu window – option for mouse sensitivity con guration, basic keyboard keys and turbo mode. Click right eld in menu to
assign keyboard button ("K"), and then press key on keyboard to which we want assign speci c function.
6. When "ADVANCED" is pressed, new window will pop up with advanced buttons binding for keyboard ("K") and mouse ("M").
After key binding is done, press button with diskette symbol in main menu to save changes. Device can be disconnected.
Alternative installation method
applies to all supported consoles
In case of unsuccessful installation in spite of following above guidelines, please use alternative installation method.
It change device connection order to adapter (all other guidelines for each console remine unchanged).
From: points 1-4 (connecting devices to the Tin 200 adapter in the appropriate order described above)
To: Connect all devices (gamepad + keyboard + mouse) to the Tin 200 adapter (the order does not matter), and nally connect the adapter
to the console.
