STATEMENT OF USE
This tool is designed for only right hand rotation
tapping of holes in metal and plastics. Tap
removal is by putting the tool away from the
workpiece, so engaging reverse at twice forward
speed.
No other use permitted.

OPERATING
The tools are fitted with a progressive
throttle action, this allows a low speed with
a small throttle opening which is ideal when
commencing a drilling operation. Always use a
sharp drill at the correct drilling speed.
The tool is designed for a working
pressure of 6.3 bar (90 psig). The
compressed air must be clean. The
installation of a filter is recommended.
For maximum efficiency and
performance, comply with the
specification of the air hose (antistatic
hose). (Refer to figure 1 for compressed
air connection).

syndrome if its use is not adequately managed.

We recommend a programme of health
surveillance to detect early symptoms which
may relate to noise or vibration exposure, so
that management procedures can be modified to
help prevent future impairment.
LUBRICATION
This is a DRYLINE tool designed to
operate on a totally dry air line i.e.
one without any oil or water moisture.
DRYLINE tools can also operate on a
lubricated or partly lubricated air line thus
allowing easy interchangeability with
existing installations.
If lubrication is required an air line
lubricator should be fitted down stream
of the filter.
Use ISO VG 15.
Note: full power is achieved using a
lubricated air supply.
