10. Tighten the lower adjustable bolts (C) first of all. The adjustable bolts (C)
must be turned when tightening so that they touch the gate. The distance
between the wall and the adjustable bolts (C) is not allowed to be more than 70
mm. Then tighten the upper adjustable bolts (C) in exactly the same way. Tighten
the adjustable bolts (C) until the indicator lines at the gate's lock are at the same
height. There should be a gap of approximately 1 mm between the lock on the
gate and the retainer on the frame (fig. 10).
11. Check that the safety gate is held securely.
12. Check whether the gate can be opened unproblematically and that it will close
again automatically. Read the next section for this purpose too.
Tip: If the gate of the safety gate does not sit straight in its frame, then you can
equalize small divergences with the adjustable bolts. Loosen one of the adjusting
bolts on one side slightly for this purpose and tighten the bolts on the other side.
The safety gate must be retensioned again at the end of this procedure..
OPENING AND CLOSING THE GATE
OPENING THE GATE
1. Pull the gate handle upwards. The red warning dot will become visible: it is
intended to remind you that the gate is not closed (i.e., it is unlocked) (fig. 11).
2. Press on the button above the gate and lift the gate slightly (fig. 12). You can now
open the gate.
CLOSING THE GATE
1. Just release the gate in order to close it. It will then swing back and engage the
lock automatically (fig. 13).
2. Please check regularly that the safety gate is functioning faultlessly after the
assembly and during use later on.
3. The snapper above must engage the lock completely (fig. 14).
4. The lower adjustable bolts must sit in their anchorages completely (fig. 15).
LOCKING THE GATE
1. Press the gate handle downwards. The red warning dot will disappear.
The gate can no longer be opened now (fig. 16).
