For operation with an external battery, follow the safety instructions of the
battery.
Make sure the power source is suitable for operation of the spectrophotome-
ter (see technical data of the power source and technical data of the spectro-
photometer).
The maximum operating time depends on various factors:
Battery (e.g. nominal capacity, condition, age)
Operating mode of the photometer (e.g. frequency of measurements)
Photometer (instrument type)
Instrument type

Note
The spectrophotometer consumes electricity even while it is in standby
mode.
We recommend to disconnect the Car Adapter spectroFlex if you do not use
the spectrophotometer during battery operation.
