A. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE OF THE GET SOS ALARM &
HOUR METER DEVICE
Before using the product, read all instructions and warnings carefully.
Failure to read and/or follow the instructions and warnings may lead to incorrect operation
or malfunction of the device, resulting in damage to the product or personal injury.
1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or animals as it contains small
parts that could be swallowed. Do not use the product for purposes other than those specified
in these guidelines.
2. Before use, always make sure the product is properly installed and operational.
3. Apply the device to the vehicle where suggested, ensuring that it is in a protected position
so as to avoid damage in the event of falls or bumps.
4. Do not expose the device to temperatures over 70°C /158°F
5. The SOS function can be activated only via the app, which can be downloaded using the QR
Code below or from the hourmeter.athena.eu. website.
6. To keep the SOS ALARM function active, the app should always remain active in the
background while using the vehicle.
7. The SOS ALARM function involves sending email messages via the GSM network. In the
absence of a signal there is no guarantee that assistance requests will be sent and that the
recipient will be able to read them.
8. GPS coordinates may not be available, accurate or complete. They can be sent only when
the smartphone paired with the device has sufficient network coverage to enable data
transmission.
