Assignment of device numbers
In order to be able to teach in Homematic IP smoke
alarms, you need the sticker supplied with the smoke
alarm listing the device number (SGTIN) and the QR code.
To assign the sticker to the smoke alarm you must match
the device number (SGTIN) on the sticker with the device
number (SGTIN) on the device. You will find the device
sticker on the battery compartment of the smoke alarm
(see the figure below).
