EN Instructions for Use
trophon ® Wall Mount 2 is intended to mount only the trophon
through the assembly of the Wall Mount 2 and must be read in full BEFORE commencing the assembly.
Warnings
• ONLY use the specifically designed trophon Wall Mount 2 for use with the trophon2.
90 o • Ensure the Wall Mount 2 is assembled and installed by a suitably qualified person from your institution. Anchorings, screws and the applicable tightening torque for wall
mounting should be defined by a structural engineer.
• Do NOT install the Wall Mount 2 above any other equipment and ensure the area underneath the Wall Mount 2 is clear at all times.
• There is potential risk of serious injury and damage to the equipment and trophon2 if the Wall Mount 2 is not properly secured with appropriate screws to a suitable wall.
The trophon2 weighs approximately 22kg/ 48.5lb,
• Do NOT install the Wall Mount 2 with the trophon2 attached.
Refer to figure 5 for the trophon2 centre of gravity when mounted to the Wall Mount 2, inclusive of the approximate weights: Wall Mount 2 (3.8kg/ 8.4lbs), probe with
connector and cabling (0.9kg/ 2lbs) and trophon2 (22kg/ 48.5lb).

1. Wall Mount 2 Assembly
a. Refer to Figure 1 and Table A.
• The trophon2 should be mounted at a height from the floor level to accommodate a range of user heights. Refer to Figure 2 for a guide to an ergonomically
safe work zone for most users.
• If the trophon2 has been in use, ensure to run a purge cycle before transferring to Wall Mount 2. Refer to the trophon2 User Manual for purging instructions.
2. Installation of Wall Mount 2
• If mounting to a drywall (plasterboard, gypsum panel etc.) the top mount of each bracket must be anchored to the wall stud or cross bar. Refer to Figure 6 for
anchor hole locations/ dimensions, and Table B.
• A minimum of four fasteners are required and must include the top two positions (circled on Figure 6).
• Maximum equivalent bolt tensile load at wall interface =600N (each).
a. Install Wall Mount 2 to the wall with appropriate screws (not provided) and allow a 250mm (10in) clearance on either side of the Wall Mount 2, refer to Figure 4.
3 Securing trophon2 to Wall Mount 2
a Lift trophon2 (using two people) and sit the feet on to the Wall Mount 2. Gently slide backwards until the Wall Mount 2 holes align with the holes on the bottom
of the trophon2.
b. Place each spring washer and then flat washer over the three screws provided.
c. Screw the trophon2 to the Wall Mount 2 (see Table A) using the two long screws at the rear and the short screw at the front. Refer to Figure 3.
d. Refer to Figure 4 for a correctly mounted trophon2.
e. Paint or lacq mark the wall screws and three screws attaching trophon2 to the Wall Mount 2 to distinquish their reletive rotational position for furture reference.
f. Complete the checklist in Table C and file in a safe location such as a disinfection logbook for future reference.

Warnhinweise
• Nehmen Sie NUR die eigens entwickelte trophon-Wall Mount 2 zur Befestigung des trophon2.
• Die Wall Mount 2 darf nur von einer Fachkraft Ihrer Einrichtung montiert werden. Bei der Wandmontage sollten Verankerungen, Verschraubungen und das erforderliche Anzugsmoment von einem
Statiker festgelegt werden.
• Bringen Sie die Wall Mount 2 NICHT über anderen Geräten an und halten Sie den Bereich unter ihr jederzeit frei.
• Wenn sie nicht korrekt und mit den richtigen Schrauben an einer geeigneten Wand angebracht ist, besteht die Gefahr schwerer Personen- sowie von Sachschäden an Gerät und trophon2.
Der trophon2 wiegt ca. 22 kg,
• Montieren Sie die Wall Mount 2 NICHT, wenn der trophon2 bereits daran befestigt ist.
Siehe Abbildung 5 für Informationen zum Schwerpunkt des trophons2 bei Montage an der Wall Mount 2 einschließlich der ungefähren Gewichte: Wall Mount 2 (3,8 kg), Sonde mit Stecker nebst

1. Wall Mount 2 Zusammenbau
a. Siehe Abbildung 1 und Tabelle A.
• Der trophon2 sollte in einer gewissen Höhe über dem Boden montiert werden, so dass er von Personen unterschiedlicher Größe angemessen benutzt werden kann. Abbildung 2 enthält
eine Anweisung zu einem für die meisten Benutzer ergonomisch sicheren Arbeitsbereich.
• War der trophon2 bereits im Einsatz, ist vor Anbringung an der Wall Mount 2 ein Spülzyklus zu durchlaufen. Anweisungen zum Spülen finden Sie im Benutzerhandbuch für den
trophon2.
2. Montage der Wall Mount 2
• Bei Montage an einer Trockenbauwand (aus Gipskarton, Rigips o. ä.) muss die obere Befestigung jedes Haltefußes an einer Ständerwand oder einer Traverse verankert werden. In
Abbildung 6 und in Tabelle B sind Positionen und Abmessungen der Verankerungslöcher angegeben.
• Es sind mindestens vier Befestigungselemente erforderlich, die unbedingt die oberen beiden Positionen einschließen müssen (in Abbildung 6 eingekreist).
• Maximale äquivalente Schraubenzugkraft an der Wandoberfläche = 600 N (pro Schraube).
a. Befestigen Sie die Wall Mount 2 mit geeigneten Schrauben (nicht mitgeliefert) an der Wand und lassen Sie auf beiden Seiten einen Freiraum von 250 mm (siehe Abbildung 4).
3. Befestigen des trophon2 an der Wall Mount 2
a. Heben Sie (zusammen mit einer anderen Person) den trophon2 an und setzen Sie dessen Füße auf die Wall Mount 2. Schieben Sie ihn vorsichtig nach hinten, bis die Löcher der Wall Mount 2 sich
mit jenen auf der Unterseite des trophons2 decken.
b. Legen Sie jeweils eine Federscheibe gefolgt von der Unterlegscheibe über die drei mitgelieferten Schrauben.
c. Schrauben Sie den trophon2 mit den beiden langen Schrauben auf seiner Rückseite und der kurzen Schraube auf der Vorderseite an die Wall Mount 2 an (siehe Tabelle A). Siehe Abbildung 3.
d. Abbildung 4 zeigt einen korrekt montierten trophon2.
e. Markieren Sie die Wandschrauben und die drei Halteschrauben des trophon2 mit Farbe oder Lack, um ihre relative Drehposition für künftige Zwecke festzuhalten.
f. Füllen Sie die Checkliste in Tabelle C aus und legen Sie sie zum späteren Nachweis an einem sicheren Ort ab, z. B. in einem Desinfektionstagebuch.
