1. Instructions for use
A.
Locking of the synchronous mechanism
The synchronous mechanism must be locked in horizontal position when the
chair is adjusted. Tip the seat to horizontal position and lock it. See 'Adjust the tilt
of the chair' for instructions.
B.
Adjust the seat height
The seat height is released by pulling lever B upwards - the inmost lever to the
right - and locked in the right position by releasing the lever. The chair has the
correct height when three conditions are fulfi lled: The front edge of the seat only
just touches the backside of your thighs. Your feet are resting comfortably on the
fl oor. The lower legs are in vertical position.
C.
Adjust the seat depth
The seat depth is adjusted by pushing button C inwards and at the same time
pushing the seat backwards or forwards. There has to be a hand's breadth be-
tween the hollow of the knee and the front edge of the seat.
D.
Adjust the height of the back rest
The height of the back rest is adjusted by lifting up the back frame of the chair D.
If the back rest is too high, lift the back frame to its top position and afterwards
lower it to its lowest position - now the back rest height can be adjusted again.
E.
Adjust the tilt of the chair
Lever E is used for locking the synchronous mechanism. The chair can be locked
in any required position by pulling lever E upwards. To revert to the full range of
the synchronous movement again, push lever E downwards and at the same
time lean back in the chair.
F.
Adjust the synchronous mechanism
The synchronous mechanism must match your weight. First release the synchro-
nous mechanism by pushing lever E downwards and at the same time lean back
in the chair. Adjust the mechanism by turning handle F at the right side of the
chair. Turn the handle clockwise to make the synchronous mechanism more
tight. Turn the handle anti-clockwise to make it more slack.
G.
Adjust the armrests
Lift the armrest to a comfortable height. If the armrests are too high, the armrests
must be lifted to their top position and afterwards to their lowest position. Now
the armrests can be adjusted again. When the armrests are at their lowest posi-
tion by the seat, the armrests are inactivated.
