• Always check the connection to the tool before use.
• Do not use this product if it interferes with the tool's safe working condition, or the anchoring location—including personal
fall protection.
• When using the lanyard, ensure a total of 2 m plus the length of the tool as a minimum required clearance between the
anchorage point of the lanyard and the nearest person/object.
• Never tie a knot on a tool/helmet lanyard.
• Never modify a tool or primary anchoring location that could result in manufacturer guideline deviation.
• Do not wrap lanyards around sharp or rough edges.
• Never connect multiple lanyards together
• Lanyards must not be used as hoisting taglines or used to statically suspend tools and equipment.
• Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when installing or using tethering system.
LIFETIME
The useable life is affected by the condition of the product.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

The product must be transported in a package that protects against moisture, mechanical, chemical and thermal attack.
Store in a cool dry place. avoid humid & acidic enviroment for storage.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance of this JSP Lanyard must only be carried out by a trained and competent person, who will:
• Ensure that NO alterations to the lanyard are made
• Clean the product using the following procedure: using only warm water and a mild detergent if required, clean with a
sponge or soft nylon brush. Use fresh clean water to rinse the detergent off the lanyard and then drip dry the equipment,
allowing the lanyard to thoroughly dry out before next use.
• Ensure that the following cleaning methods are NOT used: water over 40º C, bleach, any detergent not suitable for bare
skin, wire brushes or other scouring agents, jet wash or other power products, radiators or other direct heat sources.
