The eccentric unit has been adjusted correctly, if the plate of the
cutter is parallel with the cable while the blade is inserted under the
cable sheath.
Die Einstellung des Exzenters is dann richtig, wenn bei angesetztem
Messer die Oberkante des KMS parallel zum Kabel verläuft.
Le réglage de l'excentrique est bon lorsqu'en placent le couteau, le
bord supérieur du KMS est parallel au câble.
Le regulación de la excéntrica es correcta cuando con cuchilla
preparada el borde superior des KMS transcurre paraelamente al
cable.

Set the blade of the cable sheath cutter so that it is located in
the space between the conductor core units and the laminated cable
sheath. Make the longitudinal cut by holding the cable against the
serrated gripper and pressing down the hand lever.
Im Zwischenraum von Aderbündel/Schichtenmantel,
Kabelmantelschneidermesser ansetzen und durch Andrücken des Kabels
an das Zahnsegment und Niederdrücken des Handhebels Längsschnitt
ausführen.

For longitudinal cutting of uncut cables use eccentric position IIII.
The cable sheath is cut by holding the blade against the cable sheath
and pressing down the hand lever. After the blade has penetrated the
cable sheath, set the eccentric unit to the appropriate position and make
the desired longitudinal cut.
Zum Längsschneiden ungeschnittener Kabel größte Messertiefe einstellen
(ExzenterstellungIIII), das Messer gegen den Kabelmantel drücken
und durch Betätigen des Handhebels den Kabelmantel anschneiden.
Nachdem das Messer den Kabelmantel durchdrungen hat, den Exzenter
auf die entsprechende Einstellung verstellen. Danach den gewünschten
Längsschnitt ausführen.
Pour la coupe longitudinale d'un câble non coupé régler le couteau sur
la plus grande profondeur (pos. IIII de l'excentrique). Couper la gaine
de câble en pressant le couteau contre la gaine et en appuyant sur le
levier. Lorsque le couteau a traversé la gaine, mettre l'excentrique sur le
réglage correspondant. Puis effectuer la coupe longitudinale souhaitée.
Para el corte longitudinal de cables no cortados deberá regularse
la mayor profundidad de cunchilla (posición de excéentrica IIII),
apretar la cunchilla contra la cubierta del cable y cortar la misma
activando la palanca de mano. Después de haber penetrado la
cuchilla en la cubierta del cable, ajustar la excéntrica a la regulación
correspondiente. Ejecutar después el corte longitudinal deseado.

Exchanging the knife. If the blade is damaged or broken, remove
it by loosening the screw in the cover bushing using the
Allen-type wrench. Set spare blade in position by turning accordingly.
Re-tighten the screw and press the cover bushing back into the bolt hole.
Wechseln des Messers. Bei beschädigter oder abgebrochener
Schneide kann das Doppelmesser herausgenommen werden. Dazu
die Inbusschraube durch die Abdeckbuchse mittels Inbusschlüssel
herausschrauben und Doppelmesser wechseln. Nach dem Festziehen
der Inbusschraube Abdeckbuchse in die Bohrug zurückdrücken.
Remplacer le couteau. Si la lame et déteriorée ou cassée le double
couteau peut être démonté. Pour celà, dévisser la vis à six pans creux
avec une clé Allen et remplacer le double couteau. Après bien avoir
serré la vis à six pans creux remettre la douille de couverture dans le
trou de vis.
Cambio de la cuchilla. En caso de filo deteriorado puede sacarse la
doble cuchilla. Para ello desatornillar en la pieza tapadera el tornillo
cilíndrico empleando la llave hexagonal y cambiar la doble cuchilla.
Después de apretar el tornillo, empujar hacia atrás la pieza tapadera
en la perforación.
