Function button
On/Off button:
turn the caliper on or off. The display will be set to the measured value by ABS system and to zero by other
system.
Zero button:
set display to zero
mm/inch button:
switch the display between mm and inch
Hold button:
By pressing the hold button the measured value will be hold for later reading.
Origin button:
set the absolute zero point
DIR button:
reverse the counter direction
ABS button (ABS/INC or Zero/ABS button):
By pressing of ABS button the display will be set to zero and the measuring system will change to the rela-
tive methode. "inc" appears. Press the button again (by some model long press ( > 5 s ) the measuring
system will change to absolute methode.
Set button (Preset button):
With one press on this button, the presetted value will be displayed.
5. Operating instructions
Keep body face clean, prevent liquid material from getting into slider to destroy electronics.
Surface should be cleaned gently with cotton fabric. Never use petrol, acetone or alcohol.
Don't remove end cover of data output without using plug connector.
Output end shouldn't be contacted with metal in order to protect electronics against damage.
By storage or no using for a long time please take the battery out of the caliper. Other notes refer to conventional caliper.
Accidental wrong display may happen while replacing the battery. Just take out the battery and then put it in again after more
than 30 seconds until the display returns to normal.
6. Adjustment
There are two adjustment screws places on the casing shown right. The jaws can
be adjusted, if the accuracy is not o.k. after long using.
7. Trouble Shooting
Failure
1. Five digits jump simultaneously
once per sec. "B" or "Error" appears
2. dark display
Display doesn't change when the
slider is moved.
Reading error is more than 0.1 mm. 1. Dirt in the sensor
No display

Cause
Battery voltage is too low
Trouble in circuit.
2. Battery volatage too low
Battery in poor contact or battery empty
Remedy
Replace the battery
Remove the battery and set in again after 30
sec.
1. Remove the slider cover and clean the
face of sensor.
2. Replace the battery
Remove battery cover and adjust the battery
seat or replace battery.
