INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
We congratulate you on the purchase of the kitchen scales Digi Duo/Digi Duo Inox.
Thank you for buying Tescoma.
The electronic kitchen scales Digi Duo and Digi Duo Inox feature the following
characteristics:
• Weighing range – 2 g to 3.0 kg.
• Accurate – 1 division = 2 g, i.e. the display shows weight to 2 gram
resolution.
• Universal – the ingredients can be weighed either directly on the scales or in
the pan, which constitutes part of the accessories, or even in any chosen
container.
• Adding feature – the scales can be reset during the weighing process, i.e. the
individual ingredients can be weighed incrementally in a single container.
• The pan with cap is provided with a scale in litres and a practical spout.
Ingredients can not only be weighed in the pan, but also further processed –
mixed, etc., as well as stored for prolonged periods, e. g. with the cap on in
a refrigerator.
• Economic – only one 9V battery is enough for the scales' operation. The scales
switch off automatically when not in use.
• Weighing surface made of high-grade stainless steel (only model Digi Duo
Inox, art.: 362730).
• Intended for domestic use.
Putting the scales into operation
Insert a 9V alkaline battery into the battery pit on the bottom of the scales, making
sure that you observe the correct polarity. Close the battery pit. Always use only high-
quality alkaline batteries.
Note: Used batteries are not intended for municipal waste, they must be properly
disposed of.
Weighing
Place the scales on a solid flat surface and push the „on/tare" button. After
approximately 2 seconds, the display will read 0 g indicating the scales are ready for use.
If you wish to weigh in the pan, put the pan onto the scales and push the „on/tare"
button. After switching on, the scales with the pan on show 0 g. If you want to place
the pan on switched-on scales, tar the display using the „on/tare" button.
Put the ingredient you want to weigh into the pan or directly onto the scales. The
display will show the ingredient's weight in grams. If you add another ingredient, the
display will show the total weight of both ingredients. You can continue adding more
ingredients, but the weight of all the ingredients must not exceed 3 kg.
