Die fehlerfreie Montage und Handhabung von Fahrradkomponenten trägt entscheidend zur Sicherheit
deines Fahrrads bei.
• Die Montage von Fahrradkomponenten darf nur von Personen mit entsprechendem Fachwissen
und Erfahrung durchgeführt werden. Im Zweifelsfall muss ein ausgebildeter Zweiradmechatroniker
hinzugezogen werden!
Allgemeines
Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss vor der ersten Verwendung deines Werkzeugs gelesen und
verstanden worden sein. Bewahre diese Bedienungsanleitung für späteres Nachschlagen auf.
Verkaufst oder verschenkst du dein Werkzeug, muss diese Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt werden.
Kompatibilität
Das Werkzeug kann zum Einziehen von Di2-Leitungen, Bremszug-Außenhüllen, Schaltzug-Außenhüllen
und Hydraulikleitungen in Fahrradrahmen für innenliegende Leitungen verwendet werden.
Aufgrund der magnetischen Eigenschaften von Stahl kann das Werkzeug nicht zum Einziehen von
Leitungen in Stahlrahmen benutzt werden.
Die Bohrungen für die Ein- und Austritte der Leitungen dürfen nicht kleiner als 6 mm sein.
Bei empfindlichem Lack sollte der Rahmen an den entsprechenden Stellen mit Klebeband abgeklebt
werden.

B Einführhilfe durch den Rahmen ziehen
1. Einführhilfe (A-6) an der Stelle in den Rahmen schieben, an der die Leitung den Rahmen verlassen
soll.
2. Einführhilfe mit Hilfe des Magnets der Führungshilfe (A-5) durch den Rahmen führen und an der
Stelle, an der die Leitung in den Rahmen eintreten soll, aus dem Rahmen führen.

Leitung in den Rahmen einziehen
1. Leitungsverbinder (A-1) mit entsprechendem Leitungsadapter (A-2/3/4) an der einzuziehenden
Leitung anbringen.
• Es sind Leitungsadapter für Brems- und Schaltzug-Außenhüllen (A-3), für Di2 Elektronikleitungen
(A-2) und für Hydraulikleitungen (A-4) vorhanden.
• Zum Verbinden einer Hydraulikleitung oder einer Brems- und Schaltzug-Außenhülle muss der
entsprechende Leitungsadapter in die Leitung eingeschraubt werden.
• Ein Schalt- oder Bremszug kann ohne Adapter am Magneten des Leitungsverbinders angebracht
werden.
2. Magnetspitze des Leitungsadapters auf den Magneten der Einführhilfe (A-6) aufstecken.
3. Leitung mit Hilfe der Einführhilfe vorsichtig durch den Rahmen führen. Leitung dabei vorsichtig
nachschieben und gleichzeitig vorsichtig an der Einführhilfe ziehen.
4. Wurde eine Hydraulikleitung eingezogen, muss das Ende, an dem der Leitungsadapter in die
Leitung eingeschraubt wurde, um 10 mm gekürzt werden.
Wartung und Pflege
Regelmäßige Wartung und Pflege sorgen für eine lange und zuverlässige Haltbarkeit sowie eine
uneingeschränkte Funktion. ROSE Bikes empfiehlt folgende Tätigkeiten:
• Das Werkzeug sollte sorgsam behandelt und so aufbewahrt werden, dass Korrosion erschwert
wird und Beschädigungen ausgeschlossen werden können. Die einwandfreie Funktion des
Werkzeugs hängt maßgeblich von dessen Zustand ab.
• Werkzeuge regelmäßig reinigen und zum Korrosionsschutz mit einem Universalöl einölen.
• Befestigungsschrauben der einzelnen Werkzeuge regelmäßig nachziehen.

bike.
• Bike components must only be installed by people with sufficient expertise and knowledge. If in
doubt, please consult a qualified bicycle mechanic!
General information
Please read this manual carefully before using the tool for the first time and make sure you understand
everything. Keep this manual for future reference.
If you sell or give away your tool, please also include the owner's manual.
Compatibility
The tool may be used to route Di2 e-Tube cables, brake cables/housings, gear cables/housings and
hydraulic hoses through bicycle frames designed for internal cable routing.
Due to the magnetic properties of steel, the tool may not be used for routing hoses through steel
frames.
The frame holes through which to route the cables must not be smaller than 6 mm.
To protect the sensitive paint of your bike from damages, you should mask off the respective areas
with adhesive tape.

B How to route the installation cable through the frame
1. Insert the installation cable (A-6) into the frame hole where you want the cable to go out of the
frame.
2. Guide the installation cable through the frame using the guide magnet (A-5) and lead it through
the frame hole where you want the cable to go into the frame.

How to pull the cable into the frame
1. Fit the cable connector (A-1) with the respective adapter (A-2/3/4) to the cable you would like to
route through the frame.
• The kit includes adapters for brake and shift housings (A-3), for Di2 E-tube cables (A-2) and for
hydraulic hoses (A-4).
• To connect a hydraulic hose or a brake and shift cable housing you should insert the respective
adapter into the receiving end of the hose/cable.
• You don't need an adapter to fit a gear or brake cable to the magnet of the cable connector.
2. Attach the magnetic end of the adapter to the magnet of the installation cable (A-6).
3. Use the installation cable to carefully guide the cable through the frame. Gently pull the installation
cable through the frame while simultaneously pushing on the new cable.
4. If you have routed a hydraulic hose through the frame, you'll need to cut off the end part (10 mm)
where the adapter was inserted into the hose.
Maintenance and Care
Regular care and maintenance ensure high durability and reliability, as well as unlimited functionality.
ROSE Bikes recommends carrying out the following tasks:
• Handle the tool with care and make sure to protect it from damages and corrosion during
storage. A proper functioning of the tool largely depends on its condition.
• Regularly clean the tool and grease it with universal oil to prevent corrosion.
• Regularly tighten the bolts of the tool.
