Mode of operation
A reversible motor (120) drives the spindle via tooth belt
reduction gear (121, 122, 123) and encased cycloidal gear (124).
The output shaft is postively connected with spindle nut (126)
through engageable coupling (125). Spindle nut rests
between two thrust bearings (127) preventing axial thrust
from gear. Thread spindle (129) is prevented from rotating
by sliding key (128).
By this means the rotating motion of spindle nut is con-
verted to a thrust motion of thread spindle. The extended
spindle is protected against dirt by bellows seal.
The valve runs completely to both stops where the single-
phase motor stalls under voltage.
Both stops will be indicated by SPDT limit switches. Dual
signaling possible.
Due to the very low inertia of the motor the valve stops
immediately without overshoot (< 0,1mm). This guarantees
fast reversal at any required switching frequency.
At motor stoppage the actuator may be driven by the
handwheel (130). Motor- or manual operation is selected
by shifting reversing lever (131).
Shifting from motor- to hand operation
Disengage coupling by pulling reversing lever (131) and turn
lever to position "Hand" and engage it.
Shifting from hand- to motor operation
Disengage coupling by pulling reversing lever (131) and
engage it by simultaneous turning of handwheel (130) in
position "Motor".
Shifting processes can be exercised also during operation.
Accessories
Middle position switch in fixed position
By this means the middle position of each stroke is indicated.
Middle position switch infinitely adjustable
By this all valve positions can be indicated.
Electromagnetic stop brake
can be mounted in addition.
Mounting of remote controllers
Mounting of normal- or special position transmitter up to
3 pieces possible.
Electronic position indicator 1 piece through gear drive.
Angle of rotation for all position transmitters by each full
stroke is 260°.
Each is driven via slipping clutch and therefore easily
readjustable and damaging of position transmitter by over-
travel of upper and lower limit of actuator is impossible.
