These operating instructions solely relate to product 500036.
They contain important information concerning usage for the first time and handling the socket
dimmer.
Therefore, follow these operating instructions, even if you pass on this product to a third party.
For this reason, it is important that you keep these instructions safe for future reference.
1. Introduction
Dear customer: Thank you for deciding to purchase our product.
You have bought a Vollmer product which has been built to incorporate the latest technical advances
The socket dimmer fulfils the requirements of the applicable European and national directives.
In order to maintain the state of the product and ensure hazard free operation, you as the user must follow
these operating instructions!
To be used for incandescent, high voltage halogen and compatible with most dimmable LED bulbs.

2. Safety notes


In the event of damage which is caused by not following these operating instructions, the warranty is
rendered void!

We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!

Do not bring the socket dimmer into contact with extreme heat or a naked flame.

We do not assume any liability in the case of material damage or personal injury which is caused by
improper handling or not following the safety notes.

In such cases, all waranty claims are rendered void.

The rating plate should not be removed.

Socket dimmers should not be used in series!
3. Before installation/usage for the first time

The socket dimmer should only be used out of the packaging.

Carefully take the product out of the packaging.

Before you use the socket dimmer, ensure that it has not been damaged in transit. The socket dimmer
should not be used in the event of damage to electrical parts. Repairs should only be carried out by a
qualified electrician.

Keep packaging material away from children and pets. Risk of suffocation!

Make sure that the connected load used in your domestic installation corresponds with the data on the
rating plate of the product.
