Mounting an operating instructions for LARA pendant luminaires
The mounting of the lamp: possibly with 2 people
The connection of the light may be explained only by a specialist staff
Before the installation: the electric arrangement is to switch free of tension !
Fasten first the silver varnished connection hanger to the ceiling, then mount the transformer box with the suspended light
Absolutely follow:
1) With the assembly of the light both wire ropes must lie in each case "freely of knot" in both brass-reverse rollers
2) May not be raised lampreflector too far - otherwise a short-circuit can be originate at this time!
3) The wire ropes may not touch each other, or get into contact with thereflector/cover box.
Otherwise a short-circuit can be originate at this time and the proxydimmer is damaged!
4) The luminaire must NOT be adjusted in height when switched on !- This may only be done when switched off !
To the vertical adjustment please push both stop shells on the left and right on the
Underside of the holders in the wire-rope at same time - and push/move it in the desired
height.
Gesture control:
The pendant lamp is equipped with a motion/gesticulation sensor. The matching sensors for bottom and top light are located
on the upper side of the middle pendant rail.
Within a capture area of approx. 10 centimetres become movement direction and position of the hand by a sensor grasp.
By a wiping movement in the sensor area the light is switched on or switched off.
If the hand stays longer time below the sensor on top or bottom, the dimmer activates and the brightness can be regulated.
This integrated module is defeated by no wear.
Foreign light or infrared remote controls affect the function in no manner.
Care of the lamp:
Absolutely before : switch off the lamp and cool down approx. 10 minutes
To the care of the lamps you use please a soft, dry cotton cloth.You remove strong soiling
damage the surface and varnish layer of the lamp.
Please with a very wrung out, slightly humid chamois.
Use by no means cleaning agent or chemical additives, because this could damage the surface and varnish layer of the lamp
wire rope anchorage:
Pull the wire rope down out from the stopper
On this occasion, possibly assist from 2.nd person to hold the lampreflector
wire rope
stopper
wire rope on both sides
evently shorten
Extendable on both sides
squeeze the wire end sleeve
wire end sleeve (2 pieces endead)
Push the wire end sleeve about the wire rope and allow to
the wire rope on both dides shorten after correct
overlap the wire rope approx 7 mm. Now wire end sleeve
positioning with universal pliers firmly squeezed
Turn over the overlapped piece of wire rope and now push it back
in the hole of stopper.
