EAR PROTECTORS
Introduction
To get the most out of your new ear
protectors, please read this manual before
use. Please also save the instructions in case
you need to refer to them at a later date.

Special safety instructions

Caution: Follow this manual and adhere
to all safety instructions, otherwise the
protective eff ect of the ear protectors may
be reduced.
Caution: These ear protectors are SMALL
size. The size is suitable for children.
This product may be damaged by certain
chemical substances.
The ear protectors, and especially the pads,
may deteriorate with use and so should
regularly be checked for tear and leaks.
If the ear protectors are damaged or
worn, they will not provide the expected
protection, and they must therefore not be
used any longer. Replace or repair the ear
protectors.

Check the ear protectors thoroughly for
wear and tear before each use.
Placing hygienic covers onto the pads may
aff ect the acoustic function of the hearing
protection.
Check that the ear protectors are correctly
positioned regularly during use in order
to ensure they are providing the optimum
protection.
The use of ear protectors with or without
the entertainment function may make
it harder to hear warning signals in the
workplace.
Never use in traffi c.
The ear protectors must not be exposed to
direct sunlight for long periods, as this may
deform them.
This ear-muff shall only be worn by
children of at least � ve years. At this are
the bone structure of the children's heads
will be so solid and strong that the risk of
deformations is eliminated.
This ear-muff is suitable for children with a
head height up to 130 mm only.
Check and make sure that the ear-muff is
worn correctly and continuously by the
child.
The time a child stays in a noise area should
be minimized.
Excessive usage time can have adverse long
term eff ects, e.g. due to the pressure on the
head; a recommendation for a usage time
of approximately 90 min without break and
approximately 3 hours per day in total.
