Safety
•
This product is a precision instrument and should be handled
with care and protected from blows and rough treatment.
•
The product is only intended for normal domestic use and
only in the manner described in this instruction manual.
•
Place the product in the same place every time you weigh
yourself.
•
For accurate readings, the product should be placed on
a hard, level surface. Placing the product on a soft mat or
uneven floor will result in unreliable readings.
•
Weigh yourself without clothing at the same time of day,
preferably in the morning before breakfast. Place your feet
in the same place every time you weigh yourself. Make sure
that both your feet and the scale are completely dry.
•
The displayed readings are rounded up/down to the nearest
100 g/0.2 lb.
•
Do not expose the product to extremely hot or cold
temperatures. Do not splash the product or immerse it
in water or other liquid.
•
Do not store the product standing on its edge as the display
will be on all the time and quickly drain the batteries.
•
Remove the batteries if the product is not to be used for
a long time.
•
The product can be affected by changes in temperature or
by being moved. The product may give inaccurate readings
if it is too cold when used. Leave the product at normal
room temperature for about 24 hours to acclimatise before
using it for the first time.

Batteries
1. Slide up and remove the battery cover.
2. Insert 4 × AAA/LR03 batteries. Follow the markings in
the battery compartment to ensure correct polarity.
3. Refit the battery cover.
Weighing
1. Switch the scale on by pressing the touch control (1) on
the back.
2. Press the control the required number of times to choose
the desired units.
3. Place the scale on a hard, flat and level surface and let it
switch off automatically.
4. Step onto the scale.
5. The display will flash a few times while the reading stabilises
and will then display your weight.
6. The display automatically switches off after 6 seconds.
7. The scale will automatically switch off it is not used for
further weighing.
8. The next time you stand on the scale it will come on
automatically.

Care and maintenance
•
Clean the scale by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
•
Whenever the scale is not to be used for an extended period,
the batteries should be removed and it should be stored in
a dry, dust-free environment, out of children's reach.

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general household waste.
This applies throughout the entire EU. In order to
prevent any harm to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
the product must be handed in for recycling so that
the material can be disposed of in a responsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to

of purchase. They will ensure that the product is
