Wireless WiFi Hotspot Kit
Easy Set
Up Guide
We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the product
at home by
creating your own local Wi-Fi network
signal from your home Wi-Fi router. Simply follow the
instructions in this manual. If at any time you wish to start
from scratch, or have forgotten your passwords, press and
hold the
RESET BUTTON
for 10 seconds (all LEDs flash). The
RESET
hole is on the back of the repeater. You can also reset
using the software on your device once set-up is complete if
you want to restore to factory settings.
You will set up your new Kuma local Wi-Fi network with your
mobile device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop), and all other
devices will connect directly to that network using wireless.
Remove the bottom cover of the Wi-Fi
antenna by pushing it down, as shown in
picture 1. A tab holds the cover, you will
need to apply a slight downward pressure
to open the cover.
Connect the mini-USB end of the USB
cable to the connector under this cover.
Wind the cable by pressing it on the
compartment walls, as shown in picture 2,
to reduce the risk of disconnection.
Replace the cover, making sure that the
USB cable goes through one of the holes,
so that the seal is made when the antenna
is fixed in the vertical position.
Connect the other end of the USB
cable into the USB port of the
Repeater, located on the bottom edge
of the device. Screw the detachable
antenna into the intended connector
(ANT) on the top of the Repeater.
Power the Repeater using the included

The flat front side of the Kuma antenna should be pointed
towards the Wi-Fi router (at home or campsite).
On your mobile device (smartphone / tablet / computer),
search for nearby Wi-Fi networks. In the list of available
networks, choose the one called USBWIFIRPT-3000A. At this
point, no password is needed to connect to it. If you do not
see this network, disable and re-enable Wi-Fi on your mobile
device.
