Once you have stopped your NutriBullet®, wait to remove the blending cup/blade assembly until the
motor comes to a stop and the unit powers down completely. Taking the assembly off the unit prior to
complete power down can cause damage to the blade coupling or motor gear.
The Cyclonic Action® of your NutriBullet® requires the use of liquids to make NutriBlasts® and other
nutritious beverages.
The NutriBullet® is not intended to be used as an ice crusher or without liquids. To make cold drinks,
we suggest to use frozen fruit and chilled liquids. Alternatively, you may add crushed ice up to 25% of
the total cup volume, with water or other liquid filled up to the MAX line. Do not crush ice or other hard
items without liquid, as such prolonged use over time may dull or damage the blades. Always inspect
your blades before each use.
DO NOT USE the extractor blade for grinding dry ingredients such as grains, cereals, coffee
beans etc. as this may damage the motor and the extractor blade.
We recommend replacing the blades every six months or as needed for optimal performance.
MICROWAVE & STOVE-TOP HEATING SAFETY
After blending room temperature (or cooler ingredients), transfer mixture to an unsealed microwave-safe
container or to a stove-top pot to heat. Do not place any of the NutriBullet parts in a microwave oven,
stove-top pot or immerse in boiling water as this may result in damage to the accessory.
HOW IT WORKS
The NUTRIBULLET® Rx has two modes: the traditional NutriBlast blending mode for smoothies,
cocktails etc. and the SouperBlast mode for soups and sauces and is equipped with SMART
Technology, a pre-programmed Autocycle which automatically switches off the device after optimal
extraction.
NutriBlast Rx Extraction Mode
To start: add ingredients into one of the cups up and liquid to the MAX line, twist the extractor blade
clockwise onto the cup and tighten by hand to make sure the vessel is sealed. Plug the power base into an
electrical outlet and press the power button, located 90˚ to the left side of the G-button (it will glow BLUE).
Next, place the cup blade-side-down onto the power base and the SMART Technology function will be
activated (the G-button will glow GREEN).
Once activated, the unit will run for 1 minute in regular NutriBlast mode before it automatically turns off.
In NutriBlast mode, the motor will run 2 cycles during this 1 minute program – the first half it will slow down
to allow the ingredients to settle for improved processing, the second half it will power-up for optimal
extraction.
Do not run in NutriBlast mode for more than 1 minute. If you need to blend for longer, blend for 1-
minute intervals allowing the power base to shut off completely in between for 15 seconds. After 3
consecutive 1-minute intervals allow contents to settle for 2-3 minutes before continuing if necessary.
To stop blending manually depress the power button or simply lift the cup off the power base. Act this
way if the power base doesn't shut off automaticly after 1 minute, to run off the appliance at anytime
during the blending program or when SouperBlast mode (G-button is RED) is running by mistake.
When the cup is removed from the power base, only the GREEN G-button light will turn off. When the
power off button is pressed, the BLUE light will turn off and the blade will stop spinning.
Never touch the coupling gear directly with your hands! It will be hot due to the extraction process.

When making nut butters or oil-based foods
Due to its consistency the food will stick to the sides of the cup during processing. Proceed in 20-30
second increments only by simply lifting the cup off the power base between intervals. Between cycles,
use the tap method (see our youtube channel NutriBullet Lifestyle) in combination with opening the cup
to scrape down the ingredients to the center of the cup before continuing to process the next increment.
Allow your NutriBullet to cool down for 10 minutes after 4-5 cylces to prevent overheating and damaging
the unit.
SOUPERBLAST MODE
Only use the SouperBlast pitcher with the black lid and clear vent top in place while operating the
NutriBullet® Rx in SouperBlast mode! The pitcher is specially vented to release pressure as the soup
mixture heats. Other vessels are unvented and may rupture and cause personal injury if misused in
the SouperBlast mode.
To start: twist the extractor blade onto the pitcher. Add ingredients and securely attach the vented, 2-piece
lid. Plug the power base into an electrical outlet. Press the power button, now the G-button will glow BLUE,
signifying the power is on. Next, place the cup blade-side-down onto the power base. This will activate the
NutriBullet® SMART Technology function, causing the G-Button to glow GREEN. Press the GREEN G-But-
ton down for 2 seconds until it glows RED indicating the SouperBlast mode has begun. This mode will to
run for about 7 minutes before automatically turning off. During this program the motor will run 3 cycles.
It will slow down twice to allow the ingredients to settle for improved processing and then spinning will
increase. Once off, simply lift the SouperBlast pitcher off of the power base.
To prevent overheating don't repeat SouperBlast mode for the same hot soup. If you require more heat,
place the content in a microwave-safe container and continue heating to the desired temperature in de
microwave.
To make a new soup, empty cold contents, add new ingredients and wait 1 full minute before returning
the vessel to the power base to start a new SMART technology program. Do not repeat more than 2
SouperBlast mode programs resting 1 minute between.
After 2 programs of 7 minutes allow the power base and SouperBlast accessories to cool off for 30-60
minutes to prevent overheating and allow the ingredients to settle before continuing to blend.
If the power base doesn't shut off after the 7 minute program, depress the power button and/or simply
lift the SouperBlast pitcher off of the power base, wait 3-4 minutes before continuing. If you wish to
process your soup for less than the programmed time, you may simply lift off the SouperBlast pitcher
or press the power button. Always allow it to come to a complete stop also prior to adding additional
ingredients during the processing period.
HEAT CAUTION!
During the SouperBlast mode, contents inside the pitcher can reach up to about 70°C through the
friction of the rotating blade. Keep hands and other exposed skin away from the lid opening to prevent
possible burns!
Do not remove the lid during processing – hot ingredients may splash out and cause injury.
Never touch the SouperBlast pitcher directly with your hands after processing. Its surface, blade and
coupling gear will be hot! Always use appropriate heat resistant pads on the handle to hold the pitcher
and to support the bottom of the container.
Carefully open the pitcher lid after SouperBlast mode, as escaping steam and moisture may cause
scalding burns.
