RF Panic Button V2

General
The RF Panic Button can be used for external and internal arming of
the intruder alarm control panel. The RF Panic Button can be used
for transmitting a hold-up alarm as well as e. g. for switching the
outdoor illumination (remote control). Ask your installer for more
information. For operation the RF BUS-2 wireless receiver as of
softwareversion V03.xx is required.

Remote control: All LEDs are blinking
If the transmission path is bad, the transmission will be repeated,
(up to 10 times, an emergency call up to 60 times), the assigned
LED confirms this.
Low battery: Fast flashing of all LEDs after pushing a button.
Information on battery change
The operating voltage of the RF Panic Button is monitored when a
message is transmitted. A low voltage of the battery will be
recognized during transmission and indicated by all 3 LEDs flashing
quickly. Simultaneously, a corresponding message is transmitted to
the control panel. We recommend to change the battery at least
every year within a routine maintenance. Please observe the
supplementary hints on battery change in the operating instructions
of the control panel!

Battery change
Open the housing, as follows:
Use a small screwdriver
to turn out the screw.
Open the housing
Remove the battery.
Insert new battery in correct
position (+ Pole on top).
Close the housing and fasten with
the screw.
Dispose used batteries in an environmentally compatible manner.
The device contains a lithium battery. To avoid the risk of
fire or burns, the battery must not be damaged, short-
circuited or reloaded. Do not contact it with fire or water.
There will be a risk of explosion, if the battery is changed
improperly. Replace the battery only by the same or an equivalent
type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose used batteries
according to EU guideline 2006/66/EC. Please observe the
regulations according to the waste management of batteries
in your country.
A battery change must only be carried out by a qualified person
introduced to the VDE regulations.
