DVM8869 -- MINI INFRARED THERMOMETER
1. Introduction
Thank you for buying the DVM8869 ! Thanks to the IR sensor and the laser pointer, this device is able to measure its
target's temperature from a distance. The readings are automatically held for 5 seconds and the device is also
equipped with a backlight. Measured temperatures are displayed either in °C or °F.

3. Safety
• Do not point the beam at the human eye or at the eyes of animals.
• Do not aim the beam at reflective surfaces as the reflected beam might hit one of your eyes.
• Do not use the device in proximity of explosive gases.
• Take the diameter of the beam into consideration. The diameter of the beam is calculated by dividing the distance
to the target by eight, e.g. the diameter of the beam is 100mm if the distance from the device to the target is
800mm.
