IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS


Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance.

Never leave the appliance unsupervised when under tension. Keep out of reach of children or
incompetent persons.

From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance
show any signs of damage.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.

Never immerse the base of your appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason
whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.

Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician

Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.

All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician

Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a
danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.

Unplug the appliance when not in use.

Only use this citrus press to extract the juice from tender fruits (orange, lemon, grapefruit...).
Never try to extract the juice from fruits such as pineapple, mango or other fruits that are too
hard and/or too large.

This kind of appliance cannot function continuously, it is not a professional type of appliance. It
is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section « Important information » in the
instruction manual.

It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact
with food.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting, removing or cleaning one of the
accessories. It is absolutely necessary to remove the accessories before cleaning them.

The appliance is designed for extracting a small quantity of juice, which has to be drunk rather
quickly. It is not designed for preparing large quantities at once. Never exceed the maximum
level indicated in the tank. When reaching this level, empty the tank in another recipient before
continuing.

Never touch the movable part with your hands in order not to get hurt. Do not force the
mechanism by squeezing the fruits you are pressing too much. There is a device, that prevents if
the press hold too firm is. So the cone rotation will reverse itself, which means that you have to
release the pressure on the fruit lightly before continuing to prepare.
